  this is an example of a story that just strikes me as funny from their publications:.

  "wilson, a christian from ghana, was notified that in a few days, he would be fired from his job.

  on his final day at work, he was assigned to wash the private car of the managing director of the company.

  That experience sounds like a scene from the Godfather films. The Boss has a new car and is not aware that there is a large sum of money stashed in it, hence he thinks the money was sent by God.

  One wonders, whose car was it before the boss somehow appropriated it and why exactly did it need cleaning before the boss started using it...

  Also what kind of organization is able to promote a worker (foot soldier) washing cars to senior member of staff (Capo) simply because "Wilson, you're the only one around here I can trust!"

  all the money grab,selling, consolidation of kh, real estate scam , who is the one who benefits from this elaborate scam, what's the deal ?

  who is the mastermind, do the gb or whoever really runs the show really believe what they sell.

  I don't believe there is any mastermind running the show at the moment. The organization seems to be running on autopilot, with a bunch of really stuping (sincerely or not) men performing cabin servise while they rely on the Holy Spirit to pilot the airplane. I am certain that there is an army of cleverly cunning business minded people within the org who take advantage of the breathtaking incompetence that's omnipresent in the organization. I used to know a brother who supplied the New York bethel with some equipment. He used to brag that Watchtower is his largest customer and he makes good profit on the business with them although he found the incomptence of the staff he was dealing with quite mesmerizing.

  there is some word of mouth evidence that he is buried under the garage of beth sarim.

  i think he is under the garage.

  my mother introduced me to her jw world when i was 12. i had to attend the weekly book study....boring!!!!

  plus the disney tv show was on tuesday eve 8 to 9 and once a month they did a space show......no matter how hard i tried couldn’t get out of that bk study.

  Thank you ever so much for sharing Giordano! I appreciate your balanced attitude. I am currently "Personally on the way Out - Mentally completely Out" and find it very hard to manage the process of separating from the organization without causing more trouble than it's worth. Unfortunately, I brought my entire family into the "truth" when I was in my early 20s and then married a girl who is a 3rd generation JW. I feel like I learned a lot today, thank you, brother!

  me and my wife got baptized into the jw cult in 1997. we were both protestants before and in fact it was me who dragged her into the cult.

  during 2009, another jw friend of mine raised suspicions about his research on the blood and 607 bc theories.

  It's interesting how a conversation with JW elders is always a one way "discussion". I find that even with my father in law, who is otherwise a very humble and reasonable man. He will not allow himself to even just give a consideration to any information or thought that has not come through the "channel" for fear that it would be disloyal to his heavenly father JHVH and mother - The Organization. I wonder how many other elders keep themselves willingly in such a mental jail.

  Pioneer School scare tactics

  i just talked with a pioneer who came back from school and she said that at the end there was emphasis put on two things.. 1: stay loyal to the governing body and their teachings.. 2: beware of propaganda.

  they said that in wartime the enemy will use propaganda to break the spirit of or confuse the troops.

  they said the same things is happening now, so reject negative reports about the organization.. this pioneer (who is fully pimi btw and enthusiastic about it) said she asked her cotboe about if we really have that problem here.
