  BUSH investment in Afghanistan Pipeline

  according to "fahrenheit 9/11".

  the bush family business had invested in a pipeline through afghanistan.

  this was why wee gw was so eager to invade.. does anybody know how much they had invested in this?

  is that retail Dan? or market price? I have not really followed corn lately. If you buy it bagged up in retail form I bet it's spendy if the bushel price is sitting at 6.08.

  I was lucky... drive across the road and load the pickup out of the harvestor for $10 bucks a truck load.

  That is straight from the elevator! I life across from a grain elevator too.

  Retail corn is over 4$ for a 40 lb bag.

  a bushel of corn is 56.4 lbs; therefore corn has now passed pellets and they are talking about 7$ corn.

  Soy beans were 3.50 a bushel 3 years ago and now 12$ + seen it at 15$ this pass winter.

  Pellets are 4$ plus for 40 lb bag about 250$ for a ton. They will go up too because of the shipping.

  This bio fuel is killing us all...the only thing the media don't tell the public field corn is not used as table corn (I tried some and rather eat sweet corn.)

  I bought a pellet/corn stove two years ago and it warms our two story house in South Dakota.

  THE CORN HAS GONE FROM $1.89 A BUSHEL TO 6.08 a bushel in 3 years.

  It is high maintenance, but it is cheaper than natural gas, propane, or electricity for the moment.

  Probally will start burning pellets this winter.

  No matter what, they have us over the barrel.

  sorry for the typos--I guess that last beer let my fingers doing the walking without my brain.

  i remember the jw view of martial arts being cemented in my head when i asked my mother at the age of 6 if i could take karate.

  the look of horror on her face.

  she told me it was violent and jws could not practice violence.

  Both my sons took up MA and studied Savat, both received their black belts after we left the borg.

  THey were good. Wesley held the heavy weight title for awhile in mixed martial arts- cage fighting in California. Then sufferered a major concusion, and had to quit fighting. Seth was on his way up until he got married and had children.

  THe experience was good for them, as it built self esteeme, self confidence and self respect, as well as respect for others, the, ring, dojo, sensia, and life itself.

  i went away last week with my boyfriend (imissmaine) and the day after boarding our cruise ship we were walking around before dinner.

  I'm having a crisis of decision on my masters major. Help!!

  i've heard some pretty nasty things about the social work field, such as little benefits, low pay, no respect, inefectiveness, undertrained supervisors, etc.

  now i worry if i'm getting into the wrong field.

  i want to be in a helping field but need money and benefits.

  It's kind of like the prosecutors field compared to the defense attorney field, they are in the same business but the defense team makes more.

  If you want to help, get into the domestic violence area get acquainted with the police, DA and other agencies, discuss how you could help and you may get a leg up in the social workers field.

  Some of the state acencies pay good but you are not going to get rich.

  What's Your MAIN Reason For Not Believing In "The Truth"?

  my mother had this discussion yesterday.

  basically, my main argument was that if the fds gets jehovah's holy spirit and their "food" is "the truth", yet they always are correcting themselves, how can anyone in all fairness believe it's "the truth"??

  you can't show scripturally why organ transplants are a form of cannibalism and clearly a disfellowshipping offense and a couple of years later after possible disfellowshippings or death, and then believe jehovah god changed his view suddenly.

  How many of us R&F knew they owned and operated fruit orchard and sold oranges to church groups in South Dakota, sold used cars, did not want to be recognized as a religion in Mexico so they could own the property there. Damage repair shop in Canada.

  THe Tower; everything they do is under the table as far as business goes.
