Bash the Catholics here.
by JG inreading one of the other threads got me thinking.
what is the root of anti-catholic sentiment.
i was raised a catholic, still catholic, and have never heard a good reason why some people dislike catholicism.

Well, I'm not so sure about this here. I don't particularly have a Spiritual Buzz myself. Hell, I don't even go to Church.Revmalk: you're spreading the hurt to those of us that don't deserve it or need it. Blame shift, because you can't explain why your god would do such a thing. What's wrong is the truth bringing down your spiritual buzz?
Haha, ok point taken - I'm surely not here to upset anyoneIf that hurts someone, for me to be honest and free in my speech....THERE IS AN IGNORE FEATURE HERE. Use it. Cause I am not here to appease the reader. I will not deny my truths and opinions because others can't 'handle' it. CLICK ME 'OFF' NOW. A knaves religion is always the rottenest thing about him." Well, sf, I've read your posts before, and of course I feel for you. However, you shouldn't assume you're the only one that knows what that's like. I don't know how to make you feel differently about God, and frankly it's not my business to do so. I can't tell you what the story is with all that. Perhaps there is no God, I don't have proof, only hope and faith. So, if there is a God, why does he allow this? Perhaps our lives are such a small glitch in our eternal existence that one day we will forget and it won't matter. Perhaps salvation is judged partially on persecution in this life, I don't know.....But I know personally if I blame these things on God, it does me no good but to bring more loss to my soul. Of course different people handle things in different ways, so what can I say. The only thing is, some of us here still believe in God, and love our God......so I thought that post was a bit selfish and disrespectful. I don't care if you disrespect God (to God himself), but you're spreading the hurt to those of us that don't deserve it or need it. I do understand though, don't ever think I don't understand. Strange Ways
by link inthere have been numerous recent threads about the level of psychiatric illness amongst the jw fraternity.
does anyone have any stories about the way in which this manifested itself with people in their congregations?.
i remember the brother who was found by the police in the early hours of the morning wandering about in the local park.

We had a guy who was "Annointed" for years. All of a sudden he's walking around town wearing nothing but a big black Hefty Bag.....I thought it was quite cool myself.
