onthego, did you miss the part where he said he DIDN'T call me?
That was the key to the discussion.

due to too much ngeative talk.
possible he says the rev may open another formum not associated with sl.bill says the effort needs to be concentrated on the coming court cases.
Mostly, I wanted to post to RevMalk.I don't remember posting to you before, so as far as I know this is the first time we've spoken. I've read some of your earlier posts in other threads where I mostly lurked -- back when you had the turning cross avatar -- and wondered about you. I held my opinion about you and lord I'm glad I did.
I just want to say, RevMalk, that after reading every word of this exemplary thread, I've come to the viewpoint that you are a fine man. An exceptional man, really. I think your heart is huge and your motives totally genuine. It has been something to see and I don't say that often. Wish I could see it more than I have.
I hope good things continue to happen in your life as I have no doubt they already have. If you still believe in God, may He bless you and your family. You're a good man.
TeeJay,
Thank you for the kind words, however, I really haven't done anything special. I'm glad that you agree with me on some things though, I certainly like to see that! haha, it's much better than being told I'm wrong, which happens MUCH more often, but hey, I'm human, it's bound to happen. As far as this thread and other things I've done and said recently, they're really nothing out of the ordinary. I hold the same ideals and values as the next guy (well, most anyway). Besides that fact, I've simply pointed out someone else's faults, and shortcomings. Now if I were doing something about all this myself, then you might just have a point.
Thanks for the vote of confidence though, it sure made my day!

i wish to explain some of the events of the last couple of months and let everyone know where silentlambs.org is going from here.
in october of this year i was approached by a webmaster, rev, who offered to provide server space for silentlambs and set up a new website.
Could be Trauma.....I'll have to give it some thought. It just seems like the icing on the cake if you know what I mean. Everyone has a breaking point, and it's usually a very fine line, and something that may seem trivial that does it.

I just don't know what to say or think anymore. I have always looked at Bill like a friend. I don't understand. I defended him for these same exact things. I looked at him and thought "No way did he do these things". I am probably one of his largest defenders on this board, if you look back through the history. And here I am, confused, tired, worn out and betrayed. I keep thinking I'll go to sleep (someday) and wake up and this will not really be happening. Not after what I've tried to do for him. I think right now I will finish up a couple of things, and take a nap....and hopefully when I wake up some of this will be clear. I'm not trying to bash the guy here, I know he's done good things, I'm just confused, that's all....
And Bill, I'm taking a break.....I need some sleep, we'll talk about this later.

I need to ask you guys some advice. I think I have been pretty damn patient throughout this entire mess. Even to the extent of working with Bill to get the site moved today, all day, and once again setting my regular duties aside (regarding my business). When all of a sudden, during this process, Bill emails me the login info for the new server. What Bill didn't realize is that he forgot he had been emailing back and forth with the new webmaster. What he said to the new webmaster is what bothers me. Now, granted this guy doesn't know me aside from a few emails, BUT the fact still remains that he's degrading my name and that of my business. It's been plain here that I was not at fault for these things, yet I'm still being abused. My first inclination is to bail on this project right here and now. They have access to the website, so they can move it, they don't need me, what exactly am I suppose to do, and how much of this am I suppose to accept graciously? Here is the portion of the email that upsets me:
Hey dave I thought I would send this to you also. I sent a newsletter out to my email list and told them what was going on, it appears Matt has seen the light after some people got after him. He now wants to work with us in everyway. This should save us a lot of work. He said forget the copyright and we can have anything we want. I guess that is good news, now if we can just finish this.

Am I just being silly, or is enough enough? This is just uncalled for, and not even close to professionalism. I asked Bill about this, and this was his response:
Cant get away with anything can I?
Sorry if it offends it just a way to explain to this person who knows nothing about all of this.
If it bothers you I will make it right however you wish.
Regards,
bill
Is this excuse good enough? Am I crazy? Am I being stupid? Overreacting? When I calm down, will I see this as nothing? Tell me because I really need some advice.
I'm sorry if I am being petty, but like I said, I think I've been quite understanding considering the fact that my name has been defamed to literally thousands of people in the last 24 hours.

Haha, Trauma really isn't a bad guy. I've grown to like him (even though he's a Gore fan!)
As for the original Bowen email, I guess you're right, it might be best to keep it up, but maybe Lin could place something in there stating it was from Bill, and that it was a misunderstanding, and please read the entire thread, blah, blah, blah.....I've got my hands full already with 'damage control' :)

Lin, maybe we can take that post down now? I'm concerned that people might not read through the thread to realize this was a grave mistake.
