  Has anyone noticed how in the October JW Broadcast, Losch encourages good works towards ALL people?

  i can't help but notice how this past year alone has seen the gb start to turn more towards the teachings of the christ instead of peddling their falsities.. study articles have talked in length about the fine works of christ.

  assemblies have been dedicated to speaking about christ.

  and this month's broadcast is about doing good to others copying the example christ left for us.. what's more shocking is that losch actually says kids should speak, share, and even give food and clothing to non-believers!!

  What a load of shit. It's not like the wts has any mission or outreach centers.

  If you want to help the poor you would have to get involved with the false religions of christedom which could get you disfellowshipped.

  Advance Directives and the JW Patient

  advance directives are complex legal instruments and widely misunderstood by both physicians and their patients.

  with most jehovah's witnesses their is a significant level of misinformation, and in many cases coercion or undue influence exerted on the patient.

  physicians need to be aware of this and always meet privately with the patient to educate them and then ascertain their true wishes.

  I my wife just had a baby and all she had in her file was a letter stating she was one of jehovah witness and she had strong views on blood. It didn't look like it was official.

  Stupid thing is her doctor typed who happened to be a jw also. It wasn't signed either.

  Luckily nothing happened. Still if something happened, I really wonder what would of happened.

  what if the society know it only has to lose one big case to lose a whole set of cases on precedent of the first case?.

  this means they will lose millions of dollars in lawsuits and settlements.

  which means their financial stability is under threat.

  I went down in the first Round!

  there is a visitor brother in town and from what ive been told, he has been a missionary for many years and they were having a get together for him.

  i took my mom to that get-together yesterday and stayed for a few minutes.

  i heard a group around a table with the visitor brother talking about how hard it was getting in the world with so many distractions and that many of the brothers were falling into the trap and leaving jehovahs organization.

  Those verses in kings were a reference to Romans chapter 10 where it states god isn't done with the jews. I really hate when jw theology replaces themselves with the Jewish people. It is quite anti semantic rubbish.

  I found the best way to debate a jw is to really understand the difference between the word Israel in the new testament and what is the church.

  there were many addressed to me.

  for example, i once had a sister tell me i was gambling because i liked playing skill crane (the machine where you have to try to pick up prizes like stuffed animals) at the arcade.

  i then fired back a her: "you saw the r-rated movie 'backdraft.

  I saw a young mother once receive counsel because the coloring book her child had was a sesame street one with a picture of the Count on it. Apparently it promoted Spiritism. It wasn’t a back room thing, just a comment.

  How many of these what the hell couples did/do you have at your local hall.

  I just had words with an elder that looked like comic book guy from the Simpsons who just happens to be married to some bombshell.

  Not saying that I really care but or am that vain or anything to write home about, it is just one of the weirder parts of JW world. It is actually quite funny sometimes. So these called spiritual men with really good looking wives and some plain jane pioneer sister can't get a break.

  I like to think of myself as a Christian. Not a very good one but I do try. There are aspects of the faith that I do find a little nutty ( like all the animals in the world getting on a big boat ) and I not going to claim that I have all the answers.

  Another crazy thing is there is demon/angel named Satan. Like there is a man in a red suit with horns with a pitchfork trying to make me do bad things.

  Sometimes I am ready to totally dismiss it , then something like this comes along where you can see such a blasphemous mockery of god himself and it makes you wonder. Like this is so stupid , there just has to be a supernatural presence behind it.

  Just my two cents.

  around the 39:00 minute mark the focus shifts to a single sister who cannot find a mate.

  at the 42:30 minute mark she states "i cannot believe it crossed my mind...to look on jw dating sites".

  guess a new unwritten rule is added to the many oral traditions of these pharisees.

  I had a grandpa that was 20 years older than my grandma. The last 20 years of their marriage , they went from husband and wife to nurse and patient.

  What a horrible thing Mr. Jackson did that poor young lady. She is also good looking, you can really tell what he was looking for in a mate. Not exactly a stand up move.

  What an asshole, he has the nerve to tell someone how to meet a mate and what they should be looking for.

  EXACTLY Why JW's Are NOT Christian

  a lot of people, ex-jws, believers and unbelievers alike, think that jw's are just a somewhat kooky brand of christianity.

  is it possible to "try and follow jesus" and not be christian?

  what exactly makes someone a christian?

  Christianity is a belief that

  1. Jesus was the manifestation of god in the flesh

  2. You are saved by grace, not works, but god doesn’t want an empty faith.

  3. You become a born again Christian, you enter into the new covenant.

  Catholic, Anglican, Baptist etc etc……….it is all the same.

  JW are a belief

  1. Only 144,000 enter into the new covenant the bible can only be understood by seven magical men in Brooklynn. Essentially only 7 seven in Brooklyn enter into the new covenant.

  2. Only though your works and obedience to the magical slave can you you be saved from the impending Armageddon.

  I can’t say I am really much of a biblical scholar but man you would think if that was god’s plan for humanity, you would think the bible would be pretty consistent in this teaching. Outside of the parable of the faithful and discreet slave ( which is a freakin parable ) , there really is nothing in the bible about this arrangement.

  The idea what is and isn’t Christian is just a matter of opinion is not true. Now if you don’t believe in the bible, that is fine but don’t say the JWs have any legitimate theology here. What they teach is utterly stupid.

  When ever I see the term " Accurate knowledge " it just gives me the creeps. It sounds like something out of a North Korea re-education camp.

  I swear JWs are more about disproving the bible than actually teaching sometimes.
