Old Letter to the Governing Body

this is an older letter i wrote to the gb in october last year in regards to their policy around shunning of dissociated ones.

the letter doesn't focus on the disfellowshiped, but am in the process right now of writing to them regarding their recent watchtower on shunning disfellowshipped relatives.. the letter i wrote back in october rambles on a bit, but wanted to express my frustration to the governing body about their very unfair policy toward those who simply choose to leave.. regards.

i came in during all the hype over 1975. the predictions about that date were the real driver behind all their activity.

since then, they haven't had a good goad to prod the sheep.

they seem to be smart enough not to try another date.. i think they plan to use fear instead.

Environmentalists? Not Necessarily, Helping Nonetheless....

whether the average jw appreciates it or not (i certainly do not), the wtbts sure is helping in the environmentalists' movement of creating as much a paperless society as possible in order to preserve trees and create other favorable situations for humanity, such as avoiding so much trash and chemical waste involved in the printing/shipping process.. in order to help me adjust to this new phase within the org, i've reasoned it all this way.

anybody else recognizes that this going all out electronic/computerized is, of course, first a most profitable effort, but also has a secondary benefit of helping out to preserve the environment.......?!.

Non-shunning stories - How fine!

From time to time I meet or see some of my former "sis" and "bros" doing a shopping, sometimes they even unassertively greet me or give the impression to be willing to have a small talk. Once I could speak about the fear of armageddon that are created in the publications and at conventions and how children react and the sis agreed me completely. She said that she would not show this stuff to her minors too. And she told me how good the JW were, because there are so many nice people. What would she tell me after this so called "fear mongering " convention and would she speak with me at all?

This year we cannot plant any sort of plant because of the bilance. That will be many years to come a day-to-day harmonisation, but with unified effort of Jehovah in mind people, we see a fine future.

9. Dont breed animals secretly. They produce much CO2 and in the new world the food will be only plants anyway. The subject is not that killing animals is unethical or that Jesus once was perhaps a vegetarian, but its simple a CO2-rule, if you dont agree to this rule, please speak with an elder, you shows you scriptural advice about loyality.

10. Only the kingdom rules can provide social rightousness and just distribution of the food, this means for you: dont be afraid of sharing food anylonger.

11. The ecological commensurability will force us to change our mode of life, Only if we all live according to this simple life earth will withstand and we can await and welcome hundreds of billions resurrected hier on earth. But withouth armagedon nothing would have changed. Actually armagedon was not a "killing" by God, but men destroyed their plant themselves. If we wouldnt have had our bunkers we would not have survived.

How many CO2 emission would 100 billions resurrected effect, think of food production plus 1 car or bike/person or such things. Place would be enough on our planet, but how much trees would have to be planted more that 100 billions could breath fresh air? Such a climatic balance would be interesting.

Tips for correct behaviour in the kingdom:

1 . Please dont move to much, otherwise your expiration air could exceed your daily maximum emission, dont do sport in the morning, better watch more TV, in sitting position you expire less. If you get nervous without regular sport you should watch our morning worship with yoga education to ease and calm.

Remember the your yearly Co2-emission in resting state is: 168 kg p.a.
but if you continously load your lungs at movement your emission is already up to : 2040 kg p.a.
The golden kingdom rule for bodily activity will be updated monthly in the Kingdom news.

2. Think of your new surrected sisters and brothers as well, share your bike with them, until the bethel factory will produce enough for everyones need.

3. Dont speculate - stay reasonable - about the length of the period in which the people will be surrected. It is clear - and the GB knows that - that if everyone would be surrected instantly at the beginning of the millenium the earthyl clima balance could not stand this grass growing population. You shall not doubt in Jehovah and mourn over 9,2, billion humans in 2050 wo died (Armageddon was also 10 years delayed and so the number was more than jehovah expected) - 9,2, that was the UN statistic. This loss was necessary to make place for new people, yes, yes, who are not least better or more nice than the annihilated men, but Jehovah had to demonstrate his power, they have been warned, dont forget.

Please dont expect to get always a place in the trains.

7. Dont forget if someone will not except the truth after he is resurrecte he will leave us sooner or later, what would result under the theocratic priniples the prompt cutoff. So if someone would be excommunictate that would be a new place for someone to get surrected.

Pistoff: Instead of seeing shunning as a matter that is debatable and up to each family, they frame it as loyalty to Jehovah.

Again the SHUNNING VIDEO is completely differing from the image that is showed in public interviews that JW are very senisible and reasonable people.

Lately I saw an interview with an elder at Tyrol TV, after the filmcrew accompanied the family in their daily activies as JW, they filmed at home and asked the sweet daughter, how she came to her decision to become baptized with 16. She said it was a free decision.

Than the father was asked if he heard of the critics from ex-JWs who argue it would have heavy consequences to leave the group. The elder answered that in his town such a case did never appear. To the next question what would happen if one of his children decided not be become a witness he answered, that in such a case the family would sustain like it is, only they would "probably" not speak so much about religion together. (That looks quite reasonable)

What was not asked or mentioned is that after baptism the matter is a more difficult one and "peer pressure/peer shunning" happens, it becomes a matter of LOYALTY to rules of the organisation and that each familymember and the whole congregation shuns the person not anymore interested in the faith as a unrepentend sinner. Therefore many young ones considere better twice to get baptized. Later there hardly room anymore for to say something like: "oh, i didnt consider the baptism really seriously enough, I would like to annul it or undo it and later think about the matter again okay".

That reminds of how and with what attitude I was totally engaged in studying the old "Make assure of all things and beware the good"..

I was shocked to read that all catolic teachings about the mess, the cross, trinity, soul, the easter and christmas could be false and I could miss the true christianity. I compared the catolics with the wars and misdeeds with the loving brotherhood who fulfills alone the testimony of loving each other in wartimes and again. BING.

And if she would turn away from her religion in a islamic country it would be for us muslim our duty to kill her for her renunciation. This has in to aspect dramatic consequences. In this life he who is killed and in the next life he who will burn in the hell.
