Dicreet and Foolish Virgin Slaves ready to be lightbearers at 1919
Rutherford prepares discreetly slave virgins for the King Jesus as co-laborers26.3.2019 -- 100 years celebration elders not democratically elected any longer.! - willingful servants slave elders ready to take up the work of changing the group into a aweful cult.
Following some Watchtower texts:
The harvest began.
However, the year 1919 saw a dramatic change. (Wow!)
The fall of “Babylon the Great”—already occurred back in 1919. (That is definitely visible and documented Hahaha!)
In 1919, Jehovah caused ‘heaven’ and “earth” to produce events in a similar way in order to liberate his people. (Look - how JW now interprete "heaven and earth")
Brother Rutherford and his associates were released from prison on March 26, 1919. On March 26, 1919, the imprisoned officers were released, and later all charges against them were dropped. (Was that the Big Occasion?)
The international Kingdom proclamation that began in 1919 resulted in thousands of additional anointed “sons” and “daughters” being joined to the Israel of God. (slave virgins)All the evidence shows that in 1919, anointed Christians were freed from Babylon the Great and were gathered into a cleansed congregation.
Then in 1919 something unexpected happened.
Before 1919, discreet anointed Christians had diligently sought to discern God’s will for them, despite their temporary weakened state.
Hence, when the call came to give forth light, they were ready.
Similarly, loyal anointed Christians in 1919 refused to do anything that would diminish their own capacity to bear light. Thus, they passed inspection.
Both in 537 B.C.E. and in 1919 C.E., Jehovah had a perfect right to liberate his people
When the Greater Cyrus, Jesus Christ, freed God’s covenant people from captivity to Babylon the Great in 1919, they came to a better understanding of Jehovah’s requirements.
Since when in modern times has the cry “Your God has become king!” been heard? Since 1919. In that year at a convention in Cedar Point, Ohio, J. F. Rutherford, then president of the Watch Tower Society, stirred his listeners with a talk entitled “Address to Co-laborers.” The talk, based on Isaiah 52:7 and Revelation 15:2, encouraged all present to take up the preaching work.
"Since 1925 Gods convenant people have been busy engaged in the proclamation of the kingdom of God" Rutherford.
Before 1919, congregations of God’s people were administered by elders and deacons, all of whom were democratically elected by members of the congregation.
----
Enough stuff for study articles based on previous Wt study articles. In combination its a mix of 1919 until 1925 -glorification and manifestation of a cult DATE again. Do you know a more important "cult-date"?

Other Religions use the Name JEHOVAH too
by UnDisfellowshipped inare jehovah's witnesses really the only religion that promotes and preaches the name of jehovah?.
jw's are always claiming that they are the only religion that preaches and uses the name jehovah, and that is why only they will be saved.
for example, look at this quote from the watchtower:.

Jehovah is an errorneous construct, lately an artificial name, without following the rules of
credible language study, it sounds perhaps beautiful and got modern because nobody was aware of the error, and its usage was a misrispect of the old tradition not to spell the holy name of god. But as it is not the real spelling of Gods name in hebrew anyway (as it was spelled by the Highpriest), even this doesnt matter, and God will not be angry about it.Its usage in songs or art can be treated or seen as an artwork or unnecessary hobby or overexageration of those not aware of history of the name. Its a name like all other names to a certain extent. It is no capital sin though to use the name as" jehovah", but it is not correct or respectful towards Jews.
But it is a sin to make false prophesies under reference of this name, while identifiying it as gods only own name. And to bring separtion into families by shunning under reference of this "holy" name.

The Hebrew vowel points of Adonai were added to the Tetragrammaton by the Masoretes, and the resulting form was transliterated around the 12th century as Yehowah.[1] The derived forms Iehouah and Jehovah first appeared in the 16th century.
...
The most widespread theory is that the Hebrew term יְהֹוָה has the vowel points of אֲדֹנָי (adonai).[27] Using the vowels of adonai, the composite hataf patah ֲ under theguttural alef א becomes a sheva ְ under the yod י, the holam ֹ is placed over the first he ה, and the qamats ָ is placed under the vav ו, giving יְהֹוָה (Jehovah). When the two names, יהוה and אדני, occur together, the former is pointed with a hataf segol ֱ under the yod י and a hiriq ִ under the second he ה, giving יֱהֹוִה, to indicate that it is to be read as (elohim) in order to avoid adonai being repeated
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jehovah
Based on this reasoning, the form יְהֹוָה (Jehovah) has been characterized by some as a "hybrid form",[7][18] and even "a philological impossibility".[19

To misuse the name "Jehovah" in the term "JW" for the purpose of founding a new religion was the only way that Rutherford could save the cult of dying out and make it his own, because "Russelites" and "biblestudents" were not following Rutherford anymore, because he taught things that Russel did not preach of.

Is the NWT really the only bible that gives in Gal. 6,16 the impression that christians replace Israel and are now the new Israel of God ?
Whereas according to other Bibles like the old KJV or Luther-bible Paul sends blessings to all saints AND to Israel ...
" And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God"the holy NWT changed its former text that again that read "even upon the Israel of God" to the new "yes, upon the Israel of God", what gives the impression that Pauls words where only meant for the New spiritual Israel.
Was Luther not able to translate the bible correctly .....the greek words:
καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰσραὴλ τοῦ θεοῦ?
Look my google translates even this bible passage quite good and better than NWT!!
Okay here is a study of a baptisst about this that even supports the JW view. Obviously even this "and" can be interpreted in different ways but it should it be translated otherwise?

Convention
by Gorbatchov ingorby is as you know a long time fader.. visited the convention this weekend.. and concluded that samuel herds talk about hope was not so bad at all, it was well balanced.
made some good points.. knowing both sides of the medallion, have to admit he was humble with a focus on hope.. the saturday drama impressed me.
of course, there is a lot to say about the organization, this professional produced movie in a "true story" scenario, gave me the insight that hope is important for suffering people.

Audiobible NWT
by TheWonderofYou ini took a look a the org video about the new audiobible and the production process.. most disturbing for me is that the voice of bro.
jackson seems to be always the voice of jesus throughout the bible.
he was the gb member who made the appearance in the australian child abuse commission.. i dont like his voice as jesus and will never listen to the audio bible therefore.. what me wonders much is, how much work those sis and bros do to identify similar speakers in the four gospels so that always the same speaker speaks and how they handle that.. to cover the whole bibel 1000 speakers have been identified and will be trained in reading correctly.. some questions are if the bible says that jehovah speaks, did he really speak himself or something else or if a passage says that the apostel said something, who of the apostels was it actually?.

Comparing the Septuagint to the Masoretic Text
by ILoveTTATT2 ini am going to start a thread comparing the septuagint to the masoretic text.for those who do not know what the septuagint and the masoretic text are, here's an introduction on wikipedia:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/septuagint.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/masoretic_text.
i think that, more than anything else, the fact that the septuagint and the masoretic text are so different, is what made me stop believing in the bible.. since the new testament writers quoted from the septuagint, not from the masoretic text, one would think that the septuagint should be in all the current bibles, but the case is that most bibles today use the masoretic text as the basis of their old testament.

Earnest - Considering it a sacrilege to use some substitute as kyrios ortheos, the scribes inserted the tetragrammaton at its proper place in the Greek version text.
There were obvioulsy several different Septuagint in usage, if I remember correct, and we dont have it today anymore. Perhaps on my next Israel trip I can find a scroll in a tomb.
But this does not change anything in the fact that the Tetragram was not spoken out since the Jews returned from Babylon only by the priests, althought the holy texts were copied with the four letters.
They may have read YHWH in some LXX exemplar but they didnot spell it . They always replaced it by Adonai or other terms. Translating the Lords Name with kyrios was no sacrileg at all, because it was always to see that the NAME OF GOD was meant but simply should not been spelled. There were more conservatice translators and more progressive ones but both are right.
Certainly jesus often quoted from the Septuagint and used Kyrios and did not spell loud the four letters of the Tetragram nor spell the name in hebrew or aramaic, because he would have been stoned for such blasphemy.
Hey everyone who spoke greek if he addressed god said KYRIOS at that time. Therefore the bible was translated into greek and it said Kyrios. Simple they didnt want that people began to spell the holy sacried name as "Yohawuah, or Yehiwei". They wanted to avoid this and that people used it in daily things and said,
"Oh Yehiwei helped me to find my keys again, Oh thank you Yehiwei that my Iphone doesn hangup.", Or "Yehiwehi please please please help to find a girl",
The worst: "Mum, I swear in Yehiwehis name that I learned for the math test."
"Please Yehiwehi dont kill me in Armageddon, and dont let me die without blood"They didnt like the profan usage of G-Ds name those extrem conversative Jews at Jesus time.
___
A fictive story:
One evening Jesus met his apostels and he told them:
"I tell you now the name of God because i want it to proclaim to you,
did you already hear how the highpriest spells the Tetragram in the temple while the other priest are singing so that nobody can hear it, what do you mean, Peter?"
"You dare asking me such a question, you know we are not allowed to spell it, Master".
"You dont understand me yet, i am speaking of something else when I say I proclaim the name to you "
"Proclaiming _ -? -*** doesnt not mean spell out the Tetragram?" asked Peter rethorically.
3"For I proclaim the name of the LORD; Ascribegreatness to our God! 4"The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.… -

The theologicyl terms that were used by the early biblewriters and christians they used as they were written in the Septuagint,."law", "mercy", "truth"....Generally important is that if somebody read the greek bible, automatically the greek understanding of a word was in his mind and not so much the ancient hebrew interpretaion.
Separated from LXX the NT would have been almost unintelligible to the contemporary reader, according to B. Atkinson.
