I have hesitated to post this video about "dangerous transfusions" not to encourage someone who is adherent to the blood-ban dogma yet more to agree to their own death. But the facts are here. It is sad that many J.W. are not distinguish between the danger of the transfusion and the necessity to accept it in case of extreme emergency case.

This is an older comment of 2013 of Prof emeritus Gombotz an anaesthesiologist, from Austrian hospital Linz an,who was one of the initiators of the Austrian benchmark study that already has been mentioned by Orphancrow
"Gombotz: Actually we should be grateful to Jehovah's Witnesses, because we have learned to make do with less blood transfusions inthe same or better disease. Of course there are emergencies in whicheven the best blood management does not help and you have to transfuse. Until that happens, however, you have many options".
http://derstandard.at/1363706273529/In-Oesterreich-wird-zu-schnell-Blut-verabreichtIn Austria PBM was implemented 2006 in the Austrian Hospital Linz. In 2007 the Austrian benchmark study by Gombotz H, Rehak PH, Shander A, Hofmann A: Blood use in elective surgery: the Austrian benchmark study. Transfusion2007, 47(8):1468-1480.
It was trigger for a movement. It was a benchmarkstudy of several hospitals in Austria in cooperation with Australia, and USA. It showed the blood is given to fast. WestAustralia implmeneted the PBM fast. Hofmann and Shander were payed millions of dollars for their consultant activity as has been reported by Orphancrow.
More about Hofmanns and co consultant activity later on this channelThe WHO has taken over this concept and since 2011 the Patient Blood Management is to be implemented worldwide. Many countries already implement the system. West-Australia, Holland, England. Austria however stopped implementation because the fear of loosing blood donors and because the voluntary Red Cross is financed via blood donations.
So it came that the Austrian benchmark study is not part of the below list, obviously it has not been published (?) acccording to the comment at patientbloodmanagement.de. But it is mentioned as the first scientific report or benchmark study.

Lessons learned from the outcome of bloodless emergency laparotomies on Jehovah’s Witness women
by OrphanCrow inthe wt has promoted bloodless surgery as a viable (and better) alternative to surgery with blood transfusions.. i have found a medical study that has been used to back up these "evidence based" claims.
the title of the article is lessons learned from the outcome of bloodless emergency.
these mostly indigent patients died of peritonitis becauseof delays in payment for antibiotics.

Patient Security has got public interest in the last years in many countries. The rise of the awareness about necessity of blood management in the public and in surgery and the influence of single J.W. (physicians, consultants and patients) who played role – and what role - is very exciting. From bloodless surgery, AIDS, EBOLA, WHO, .....till PBM. So no it doesnt turn simple about the possible that dirty blood donations of illegal mexican immigrants could bring epidemics to U.S.A now already a global awaresness about Patient Safety and Bloodmanagement is achieved. Especially in a time when people are growing older each decade and are travelling around the globe.
Thanks to OrphanCrow my attention has been drawn to this subject. While I was digging around in the Internet I found the following report of 2016 about the successes of blood management in Germany.
Today in Germany we have 4 centers of excellence for Patient blood managment, university hospitals Frankfurt, Bonn, Kiel und Muenster. They form a project group for bloodmanagement. www.patientbloodmanagement.de
The university hospital Frankfurt where Prof. Kai Zacharowski and his team work is one of them.
This year 2016 president Obama and vice Biden awarded German physicians Prof. Kai Zacharowski with Humanitarian Award for Patient Safety. So you see the achieved public attention about this matter.
Patient Safety Movement Foundation awarded Prof. Kai Zacharowski besides US President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden for his important contribution to reducing preventable patient deaths. The Patient Safety Movement Foundation set the goal tomassively reduce the number of preventable deaths of hospital patients worldwide by 2020. ….The Congress was attended by 250 international experts in medicine and politics, including former US President Bill Clinton. "Basics of Blood Management" by Dr. Petra Seeber and Dr. Aryeh Shander - Inaccuracies and Myth

Dr. Petra Seeber is anesthesiologist and assistant doctor for anesthesiology and intensive care at Helios Kliniken, Gotha, Thüringen, Germany as well as referent in the sector of education in this clinics according to the hospital's homepage. In the hospital Dr. Seeber and Arthur Neudorf, anesthesiologist are referents for the further development of the PBM . From the info from the clinics's homepage I have got the impression that she doesnt seek a leeding function in the clinics. Her phone number is given. The clinics' PBM has been refined since 2014. The clinic states many experts from different disciplines are experts in blood management.
She and her partner Dr. Matthias Lucas engaged as well in education in the field of nurture and published an article in the nurture magazine „Anemia Nursing“ where the role of nurse in the frame of blood management is emphazied.
She is associate with Dr. Lucas in her private practise for „Dr Matthias Lucas und Dr. Petra Seeber Institut für Blutmanagement“ or short "Practise Lucas & Seeber blood management Helios clinics“, The given website „bloodmanager.com“ is inactive. A close cooperation with the clinic is certainly given.

Are you sad or angry?
by raven inafter exiting the org, i mean cult, how have each of you felt personally about the lies you had been taught, the hurt from feeling betrayed by these people, actual hopes of once believed false teachings, rose colored lenses of seemingly just and right doctrines that turned out to be a bunch of horse $#!+, the shunning of family and friends?
right now i am going through the motions, i've just moved to a new home, which means hopefully no more elders searching for me at my previous address.. i can't help but feel sad though right now because of the fact that although i am not df'd ( maybe the elders will do it in absentia assuming i've been avoiding them and the 2 jc's they've invited me to as well as the last handwritten letter at my door before i moved ) my mom treats me as though i am dead to her, she says " i am living the life of a disfellowshipped person, and until i come back to jehovah this is how things will be because this was my choice to leave jehovah " ok i get it, but i don't- everyone has free will, so yes this was my choice but it is also her choice to shun me, especially after the "shun unrepentant wrongdoers" talk at the rc, funny how they come out with these talks to reel members back in.. she claims that she has an obligation to jehovah of which she promised to him after she was baptized not at 11, 13, or 17 ( young ages ) but fricken 26 years old.
i absolutely hate this organization and everything that it is, it's taken away my family and most importantly my own mother.. i always thought that a mothers love was to be unconditional, but hers for me is only conditional.

I am not sad and angry any more.
Juvenil ardor of discovery and jauntiness brought me to accept anything what the watchtower taught. However the bible studies and the family-like community in the sect matched my then interests.
Perhaps without influence of parallel society I would have studied at university, maybe, but after high school I didnt really have the interest to learn but began to work instead. It did not matter me that they talked about me when I began to change from full to parttime. This was rare for a man. Unfortunately I have not concentrated enough for my career but floated in pioneer phantasy. Nevertheless I accomplished to get later a new and more interesting fulltimejob in Customer Relations.
The people I met in the congreation and region were all civilized and courteous. Even when I travelled in other countries like e.g. Rome, Italy, I met fine families. So what relates the human side, I cant remember any bad experience for many years and I have good memories.
Except the sudden Gestapo like private visits at home after I began to miss the congregations and spying around in my room whether that I was ready to receive help or whether I was already to far away and perhaps on a wrong way. As well as the following phon calls for finding out my standpoint.
In the end everything turned out all right. Much water has flown down the Themes. I am free!!

by AndersonsInfo inover a month ago, the associated press in minneapolis reported that counterfeit pills were found at prince’s home.

dubstepped wrote: Lots of people abuse prescription drugs under the excuse of "pain". Someone locally revealed to us that a bunch of dubs living in an area were all addicts and nobody would do anything. Proving that those meds aren't needed or getting into the personal private medical records of individuals is near impossible. I don't think that Prince was special in this way. It's a hard to regulate area.
Is it true that while the society impresses the public with its kind dealing of people e.g. superstars, under painful medical treatment - what is good publicity - minor members who cant afford expensive medical treatement are then forwarded to the painful and heartless treatments of a judicial committee instead? This would be unrighteous and is no help out of the problem.

When in war time, which other groups will never take up arms and fight - formerbrother
A christian policeman can't say likewise in a dangerous situation: "I cannot shoot because I am J.W now. The terrorist shall shoot me first it he likes." A J.W. policeman would shoot too.
A policeman cares for the security of sisters and brothers. I knew a brother who was police-officer, he was very kind to me, but I never asked him concerning his conscience.

As love is the heart of christianity and centre of christian life and ministry, it would be in the sense of Jesus Christ to say who really loves is a true follower.
"If we love another, God remains in us" 1. John 4,12.
At the place where you find loving people you will find God. This would be the place where God lives, where you could rest and feel at home. This is the nucleus of all promises: At the place where find mercy and love, warmness, kindness and affection there is God.
This can be e.g. a mother who loves her child and cares for it while she passes the mediteranian sea in a refugee boat or even a manager who rescues employess from dangerous fire in a fabric. Even performance of ones duty in an office is a kind of love towards others. Love has many faces.
Who really loves:
- doesn wait for a futurre happiness but is happy now
- doesn hustle for accomplish a goal but is already at the goal
- love doesnt seek a purpose or benefit, love is without purpose and without benefit because it already possesses the gem.
- it makes philantropists out of egoists
God’s Love and Christian Life. 7 [c]Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. 8 Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. 9 1.John 4:7-9 NABRE

This came into my mind:
Who believes in love faithfully
who is humble and loves with mercy,
seeks peace and truth for all
is righteousness and meek
and doubts and struggles
looses and stands up
builds up and supports
trusts in Gods word and not in organisation
