i just had to note that a comment for a later deeper thought that i found on a network.. is this a clean forum?

because i seems that there critics and active mixed, what would be very dangerous.. "this study guide will not only help you to explore your beliefs regarding blood transfusions and the use of blood, but also help you to explain your beliefs to others.".

what is that...explore your beliefs ....what is that?

Could this be the reason for one day assemblies

last saturday i sat through the one day assembly and i waited for the anticipated accounts report.

for one day the costs were $10,000.

even my wife questioned why the costs are so high and why don't they give a break down on the costs?

I never heard before that before the conventions the responsible accounting assembly elders and circuit overseers have to fill out and report the awaited income of the convention to the society (e.g. $ 10,- per attendent x number of attendent would be for a small circuit 10x500=5000 $) and send that paper already as debt to the mother before the convention even had started.

Quote "The society actually charges a per publisher rate for every circuit assembly they (the overseers of the convention) will garantee (the society) that a certain amount of money will be generated."

The circuit overseer has a form and fills out the numbers and reports it to the HQ before the convention even starts, or not (do I understand that right, if not please correct me and I will repent)?

Furthter is interesting that on local level everyhting is reported but the big conventions and worldwide report is always missed.

This sounds like the society is very GREEDY or thinks it is worthy to receive the best and that as fastest as only possible.

Sad. I didnt have family in the truth so it was quite easy to leave, I didnt have to return, I simply didnt go there. Thats really sad to hear what those nice sisters go through.

perhaps some of you remember a new understanding of the sheep and the goats in the epic march 2015 wt study edition - specifically the article "loyally supporting christ's brothers".. while this article was studied many months ago, it was instrumental in helping me wake up.

during my study of the 2015 article i recalled that we had just revised our understanding of the sheep and the goats a few years ago and this caused me to research the real progression of the jw understanding of this parable.

i put the results of my research in an excel spreadsheet.. .

Hiob? Perhaps he was the person who approved this 4 color print with the UN cover on it, because he wasnt aware how dangerous it could be.

Although UN was never our enemy but only helps us to gain and establish civil rights as religious minority.

How Detached Are The Governing Body From Members Of the Bethel Family Where They Live?

well consider for a moment the layoffs at bethel?

the gb simply reassigned them out in the field for after many years of service it seems with out batting an eye with no real severance pay.

now to me that spells detachment and lack of any real concern for those who served loyally for years.. spain is trying to get some type benefits for the people/citizens in their country who served the wt corporation for years and are no longer of any use to the corporation.

It's the system, where the organisation aka the "company" itself is worth to get donated financilly everything, even heritages from everybody....and likewise is allowed to gain financially from everything imagineable

It's the system, where human manpower is excluded from gaining financial benefit from working for the "company.

The company therefore is comparable to a holy cow of JW, the Rolls-Royce of God, the holy vehicle used for the preaching work. You need this car but you cant gain profit personally from it.

You have to buy this "God's Rolls-Royce" for 2 billion $ (or monthly part payments) and because it is God's, it is worth nearly everything you possess, even your mothers heritage you would give.

But then you would simply ride around in it dressed as a poor pioneer with some allowence money in your pocket and look that someone offered you a cup of cold water in the service or when you hold a talk. Also you would hope that someone would help you if you are older or ill and cant afford the monthly rates for the God's Car or image, you cant drive anymore because you cant hold the wheel! [thats when the car layes you off]

You could make road-shows with this car, even impress girls with it, you could sleep in it, pimp it up with "Kingdom come", ...but .... you can never sell it and have a little personal benefit, its because it is reserved for God's holy ongoing roundtrip.

And thats the worst: You cant even rent it out and then pay with the money your insurance for the retirement. How will you continue your journey? (quote:Rolls Royce)

You only pay for it all the time and impress with it."How magnificient our Car is, its a sign of blessing is it not?"

according to german april issue of our kingdom ministry, the watchtower logo must be removed from all kingdom halls:.

it sais that the watchtower logo - a stylised watchtower or a watchtower with a bible - is used by the watchtower society.

thus, it should not be used by congregations or private persons, neither on kingdom halls, stationary or anything else.

Yes, Jesus speaks of a reward for the help you offered to his missionaries.

Albeit he says what would be sufficient for a reward (repayment):

- its enough that you comfort the missionaries .....(but not if they suffer persecution for dumb errors of doctrine and organizational direction)

- its enough that you receive the missionaries .....(but not that you donate all your savings and voluntary time to build expensive mansions or Headquarters.)

- its enough that you give them a cup of cold water (not monthly payings for lifelihoods in bethel)

Jesus speaks of acts of help done.... in case of need.... to every prophet .....and every righteous brother .....and every little disciple ....not of a blind obidience..... to a dozen self-anointed.... prophets, a dozen righteous brothers, a dozen little ones who form a clique and call themselves "steward"

Dont let you cheat that there are some closer to him brothers, that are stewards.

JW want to read "Whoever works fulltime for my steward because he is a stewardbrother, will receive a jackpot steward's award", what is certainly a possibilty but not the main purpose of his words.

Many have been layed off by the stewardbrother, what will be their stewards's reward?

Thanks I have never seen how impressive and state-of-the art designed the London bethel is. I like the IBSA appartments in the new built Green Court, the pictures give me impression how typcial bethel apparment might look like today.

I dont really understand why it might be necessary to leave a city-location like this. Of course printery and warehouse dont fit into a Ridgeway neighbourhood with mansion and always need better traffic connection for the huge trucks, but how much printing is done today, how much traffic of trucks will be there, isnt it always more and more less traffic because of the digital revolution? And wouldnt there be at least enough place enough for the IBSA property and some fine appartments behind the watchtower house at Ridgeway on the green field?

Everything leads me to the conclusion that a concentrated headquarter is the main goal, because it is seen as even better investment than the todays old houses. And everything on one single spot would have the advantage, that a single compound could ( like the Warwick HQ ) later been better and easily to resell to any big company as HQ. (gain in value)

Or is everything only a competition with Warwick? Who will have the more beautiful bethel? I dont understand why in London a second bethel is necessary at all, if we have already one in Warwick, Patterson, Wallkill,....
