You have to consider that Gerrit Loesch is not only GB member and head of legal affairs of JW ("LAWS!! and "denying Watchtower reader" who does not report to it but sits with the Watchtowerpresident in the coffeehouse having a white cofffee is himself an Austrian and he 100%certainly very well knows the Austrian constitutional rights of JW and studies them as much as the Watchtower what he denies.

Therefore you should also know the Austrian constituion of JW as much and as good as he himself knowns it. He is the chief of the troop. Imagine how they drink in Warwick together a coffee, the Austrian GB troop leader, who denies the Watchtower and the top JW lawyer of Warwick, who studied law inadvertantly but with affection to his masters and proposed to Loesh to deny in writing the contact to the watchtower and how they phone to the Austrian laywer and inform about the situation there because it is much better in Austria than with them.

He has certainly had contact or phoned with the JW-top lawyer who lives in Austria and is well known for being experts in religious minorities and who published official law commentaries. Imagine how the talk about the denying responsibily for the false blood policy. What was the name of this lawyer quickly?

The official journal of the religion JW in Austria published 2010 a new constituion for the new state religion.

The JW laywers (the JW layer is one of the best laywers in religious law in Austria) worked out the JW constitution for the state.

In paragraph 14 how the contributions are handled in Austria.

First the constitution according to § 13 says that baptism and affiliation to a local congregation are both premises for the membership in the religious association.
Secondly regarding the funds the JW constituiton reads that the society usually ACCEPTS [not encashes] donations and other grants in cash or asset value as well as heritage and legacy, which it receives to promote its goals and uses how it seems utile to her to fulfill the goals of this constitution.
Further in case that grants or heritages are not clearly classable to be given to a certain division or institution, the religious SOCIETY is presumed to be preconceived.
The [foreign] governing body monitors [the Austrian] directors and the disposition of the funds annually.[and however does not report voluntarily about its findings and is of course not oblidged to do so]]
Should the case occur that the funds are not sufficient enough to guarantee financiation of the religious society the branch office is allowed to stipulate temporarily or permanently a contribution and ist allowed to determine the regulations for such a contribution.

The amount payable 8 or 9% of an individual's net income or of the amount of tax payable for that year?
This depends where one lives. Basis for the calculation is the income tax or wage tax and property tax. In Bavaria and Baden-wittenberg 8 %. Everywhere else 9 %. Legally would be possible to make the capital return tax basis the but the church dispenses with that. For higher incomes a limitation can be either automatically applied or on request depending on what is advantageous. This is 3 or 4 % but on the gross income or wage not on the tax. A tax consultation is certainly good.

What is mainly of interest, what is about is data privacy, how is it handled. Do the priests in the Catolic church or does the tax collection office know how much is my income automatically? No. For reasons of data protection. So it is in Austria and certainly also in Germany. And this would be also for JW.

Also if one gets seized to pay the contribution the office knows the name, but not the income yet. Howwere this is handled differently in each church and it seems even each dioceses and federal province. It seems that the priests and the church collection offices are working quite separated with other focus and not regularly talking with each other about who pays and who not. IN the other case the priest could help a person to negotiate the amount with the church tax office. But this could also be cleared directly with the office without the cleric.

Here is an information of a local church about the contributions. They try to get your money, but you can very well negotiate with the office. There are e.b. 300 cases per year in a certain diocese where the offices even seized the contribution from members.

Howwere this is handled differently in each church and it seems even each dioceses and federal province. It seems that the priests and the church collection offices are quite separated and not talking with each other.

I know personally someone who receives regulary a letter with the proposed contribution amounting to € 90 for a year, but he never pays it. So he has already gatherd an open amount of 200 € including former years. He has not to leave the church however. No priests ever talked to him about it. Only he himself once 20 years ago phoned there to give a selfestimated income estimation, one or two times he payed the fee but then never again because he lost his job and only unregularly worked. He is an irregular visitor of the church and the church certainly wants to avoid to loose its members, therefore this policy how it is. Some pay some do not.

Church contribution calculation according to the income (Catolic example)
Calculation bases are wages, salary, pension, the income according to valid income tax law. The church contribution for the income amounts to 1.1% of the contribution basis minus one withdrawal amount of € 56.00 for persons who only receive income from non-self-employed work and for persons who are taxpayers.
For reasons of data protection, the church contribution offices receive no information about their income situation. If no income data is available, the church contribution office is commissioned (according to the applicable church contribution regulations of 01.01.2005) to make the basis for the church contribution calculation on the basis of an estimate. JW babies don't always get blood transfusions

it is a common misconception that a jw baby who requires a blood transfusion will get one through a court order.

this does not always happen.. the following study demonstrates how a jw baby is vulnerable to being used for experimental procedures.. sn-mesoporphyrin interdiction of severe hyperbilirubinemia in jehovah's witness newborns as an alternative to exchange transfusion.. the condition that these two jw babies had was hyperbilirubinemia (jaundice).

in both cases, the parents refused to give permission for their babies to receive an exchange transfusion after the standard treatment of phototherapy didn't work.

Personal Data Permission (Spain)

i had the meeting yesterday and there it was announced that there will be a new law passed in spain regarding personal data.

that law makes it compulsory for the wt spanish branch to collect a signed permission from the publishers to keep and utilize personal data.

no choice was given to us, we were just told to make sure we hand in our signed permissions before may 18th.
