@ Moshe,
Your picture was hilarious! Where can I read thos transcripts from the Steve Unthank case? Those two YOUTUBE videos were new to me and blew my mind. I HAVE to read that info with me own eyes even though I believe it.
let's assume, as most of you probably believe, that the anointed christians are not the fds.
if the anointed are not the fds, who are?.

You are 100% correct. There are individual JW's who help others, but that is because they are good people despite the Organization. The Organization does nothing to help poor or disadvantaged people. They will give them a Watchtower about God's promises to end hunger, but not give them any food. Of course, an individual JW is free to give their own money to anyone as long as you research the charitable organization and find it to be free of Christendom's influence, or as long as you tell no one. How many JW's do you know that have ever volunteered their time to help the homeless, except perhaps to give them some un-read older magazines to use as bedding? Hey, that is a great idea! I could count time, and re-purpose older magazines, and ease my concience at the same time! LOL!!!

You seem a little fired up and aggressive. I am an active JW in good standing, and I can tell you that only those who really study understand that all annointed ones are considered part of the slave class. I don't know what your objective with this post really is. There are no scriptures that say who the faithful and discreet slave is. They are identified by being faithful and discreet, and by looking after their fellow annointed Christians and feeding them with scriptural TRUTH whenever it is needed. The official teaching of the Organization does not matter, what matters is the underlying message in every article, public talk and convention symposium dealing with this subject. Most rank-and-file witnesses immediately equate the FDS with the GB. Other annointed ones are a side-point, only to be listened to if they are a DO, CO, or high ranking witness, and even then the teachings must match those of the GB. Like the Organizations " child protection " policy, the official take and what actually happens are two different things entirely. I think the REAL question is who do nearly all the rank-and-file believe and follow without question? Who do Jehovah's Witnesses belive the FDS are? Out of around 7 million JW's you have only 10-11,000 claiming to be annointed. These are dispersed through all the earth, so you are lucky if you have one in your KH. That being the case, annointed ones are few and far between in the Organization and most JW's have never met someone who claims to be annointed. In their minds annointed = GB, all other claims of a heavenly calling are suspect, especially now. Any new partakers are possibly mentally and emotionally imbalanced.
You already know that the FDS will be identified by their works, and be rewarded for those works when the Master arrives. Who will it be? Those who truly follow Christ and teach ONLY truth. POWERFUL WORKS performed from an operation of error do not count. Real love for your fellow man and giving real assistance with your time, money, and energy do. James 1: 26,27
i stumbled across this site.
was wondering what you all think about it?.
http://anointedjw.org.
I contacted them. They are very sincere and under no delusions about the Organization or the GB. They just want to attract JW's who would not go somewhere like JWFACTS or JWSTRUGGLE or JWN out of fear of Apostate material or ideas. They don't believe an in your face approach will work on most JW's, and they feel a positive approach will attract some. It is a good idea in my opinion. Too many JW's reasoning powers will shut down at the slightest hint of negative talk against the ORG or GB, it is what they have been programmed to do. I think their approach could work for some, after all its about planting a seed of truth and letting it grow.

If you believe the scriptures then ANYONE has to chance to be an FDS. It is an individual opportunity. You can also be a slave who is not faithful or discreet due to ignorance, or one who KNOWS what to do but does not. The JW application of the FDS is a myth. The rank and file equate the FDS with the GB despite the official doctrine which states the GB " represent " all the FDS class. So the FDS is a myth used to gain unquestioning loyalty from the rank and file. Any who claim to be anointed are not really of any account or listened to unless they are Elders or CO's or high ranking. There are specific articles stating that " anointed " ones do not claim to have special insights or more knowledge than local Elders. Of course these articles apply to any non-GB or non-high ranking JW who claims to be anointed. The GB of course have special spiritual insight that normal anointed do not. This way no pesky upstart anointed ones can upset the corporate apple cart by pointing out non-biblical teachings coming from the GB. They have had 130 years to develop an amazing system and complex system of deception.
i seem to remember somebody saying that since the 90's the number of elders has declined from 90000 to 60000. does anybody have any hard figures regarding this?.
the organization is desperate for "qualified" men.
but their standards are much too high, especially the monthly field service hour requirements tagged on to endless meetings and congregational busywork.
@ ?everything
There are some very lazy bros out there, especially the young and pampered generation. Others know it is a scam, so why participate when you can help people in a real-world/ practical and loving way? You can do more to help by not being a MS or Elder under constant scrutiny in some situations. At least that is what I have found.
...and they're clearly in the mood for pushing it on youtube.. .

what is it with all these random youtube channels, each showing polished and highly-produced videos.
This shows their desperation. Imagine the meeting and brainstorming to come up with SOMETHING!!! They need a Mascot!!! Maybe we can come up with one? We know Sparlock and Jesus are out...hmmmm??? What about that little robot from the old religious cartoon " SUPERBOOK " I watched as a kid, minus the cross of course.

The standards are subjective for each KH. We know that it doesn't really matter who you are or what you do privately. If you get the congregation average or above you will be recomended for appointment. The problem fot them is that more and more are done reaching for the brass ring and hitting the glass ceiling. If you are a brother and stress out and reach out and kiss butt, then what is your reward? More free labor and more of your life sucked out of you for the Borg. Why would any but the most ignorant and indoctrinated want to reach out? I quit worrying about it around the time I really started waking up to the TTATT. As time goes on more and more scandals will come out, and they will continue to lose support and money. I think the next year is going to be full of shake-ups and I will be thrilled to never have been considered worthy enough for an appointment.
would there be files containing review or asessments of individuals in cong?.
would there be files containing complaints voiced to elders about them or anyone else?.
would there be anything damaging to wtbs?.
Pick the locks and find out

@ Quendi,
Amen bro!! My KH has not had an appointment in 6 years. Of the appointments 6 years ago, only one out of 6 brothers was unrelated to an Elder. I was recently detained in investigatory proceedingd for daring to question the validity of the claim that the Holy Spirit does the appointing. We went around and around, they took scriptures out of context and I read quotes from past Watchtower articles. In the end I was told that if the brothers were discouraged it was their own fault. Also, anyone who expects to be appointed must realize that what they do publicly, in view of the " friends " is most important, because we lead them, not the other way around.. I kid you not, widows and orphans do not matter, only numbers and what men see. You are right, you reap what you sow. Now they have the gall to ask for me to reach out. My prediction is that anyone appointed will be newer converts and kids in their 20's as servants. Anyone older is to wise to whats going on, or too old to be of use as a " yes " man. The WTBTS has shot themselves in the foot with another un-scriptural bone-headed corporate policy.
