The Watchtower are nothing but false prophets. They were the most guilty of that sin during their 1918-1919 inspection. There's no way in HELL, they were appointed by Jehovah. Everything from that time period is riddled in false predictions, pyrmidology, and Jesus' presence occuring in 1874 (until 1943 this was taught).

"God's Word Is Beneficial..." 2013/14 Circuit Assembly "Highlights"
by 88JM injust had the circuit assembly this weekend here:.
surprisingly not much fuss over the new bible considering that this was the first meeting for most here to use it (the annual meeting was "invite only" for a select few here, and there was no thursday meeting because of this assembly) and having a new bible was only referred to fairly briefly in a comment about how "wonderful" it is (and in the closing prayer).
i think i was the only one there with an old maroon nwt - i got a confused look from one of the elders - haha!

Can you really give the WT app a negative review?
by bytheirworks inseriously guys, can you really give the wt app a negative review?.
i mean it does what it says it will do in a sleek way... right?.
so why the calls to give this app bad reviews?
-

I don't expect to argue Jdubs out of their beliefs through an app review. Thing is, no one really challenges their beliefs, so this could be a great way to get many jdubs exposed to TTATT for once. Here's the thought process. Witnesses will probably get pissed if they see some bad reviews for this app. They will search it out and they'll see what has been said. For those curious enough, reading anything about TTATT can set certain doubts in motion. It may not happen immediately but can linger and grow years down the road, hopefully freeing them from this cult. Even if it only helps 1 or 2 out of this organization, it is well worth it.

WTF... JW Library ranks #4 in the Top (Free) Charts on Apple Store for iPhone/iPad
by undercover inchecking out the apple store for any new cool apps, and lo and behold!
i see that the wts has finally embraced that demonic form of information dispensing.
and all jah's chil'ren are snapping it up.

slimboyfat, I agree. I was thinking that today as I was feasting on some Chipotle. Waaay to many JWs out there reviewing this app for any negative review to even matter. Hopefully what this does is bring a magnifying glass over the organization and the media starts punching holes in them.

If they do add a "donation" option in the app, they will be rollin' in some green.

A small observation from the AGM...
by sir82 in...but it struck me as significant anyway.. i attended at a jw assembly hall, and was sitting behind a pretty typical jw family.
2 kids about ages 8 & 5, frazzled hen-pecked husband, and....the mom.
the lady of the house.

Great observation on their power, its better than money.
My god, this reminds me of a crazy self-righteous couple who would do JUST THAT at my old hall. On top of the ridiculously forced laughter, their singing would make you want to punch a baby. They're THE MOST viciously judgmental people I have ever met, yet they were both dis-fellowshipped before. Get this, my best friend (who is related to them) told me that one time the wife got up and left the Watchtower study crying because, "she felt her comment wasn't good enough." Yes, complete loons.

Wife update
by problemaddict inif you want the short version, scroll down to "short version".. .
so i am at 1200 posts or so (only about 6 were probably of note), and i still havenlt told my story and probably won't for some time.
basically, i was a born in who has served in other countries, as an ms, and given talks etc... my wife and i were in foreign language, have co's we have counted as close family friends, and were basically the golden boy and girl of their respective areas.

Im very happy for you and your wife. Our stories sound so similar, I was an apologist also. Researching the 1919 appointment uncovered my eyes. It takes time, but my wife too slowly came to the realization that it wasn't the "truth." I hope you and your family continue to fade successfully.

REACTION from my neck of the woods...
by problemaddict inas some of you may know i am in the midst of a fade, working on the family coming along (new thread to update there).
most mf my close friends are still jw's to varying degrees.
i would say most are couples that are around our age (25-35), and they attend maybe 90% of the meetings, go in service on sat, pioneer in april, and have a couple bible studies etc... in general the good kind.

Heard of several people in my area crying when they got their bibles too, this really disturbs me.

@adamuh, I don't plan on being angry or bitter, I plan on exposing a cult app for phones. Why you automaticaly assume that posting info to www.jwfacts.com or showing the TTATT will hurt is absurd.
