  hi everybody!!!

  i've been away from the board for a couple of weeks and i've missed you guys.

  my grandmother is on her deathbed, then my pregnant little sis came to visit at the same time that my uncle came up from baja for a few days, throw in the busiest time of year for me at work and a 5 day camping trip squeezed in(barely), and i have been kind of preoccupied lately.

  i had to sign on and check the latest threads, i couldn't wait any longer.

  hey!!!! i'm glad you saw my post.
  totally sucks we missed you but at least we can hang out this weekend!
  geez.... 10 hour saturdays. what fun! but, hey, whatever pays the bills right?
  i'll talk to nate and see what he says, then we will drink til we look like this.....

  Hi Riz!!! Man I'm so sorry we missed you. We were looking for you guys on Saturday, and when Sunday rolled around it was getting cloudy and cold so we scooted on out of there around 11 am. That's probably why we missed you. You would have loved it on Saturday, it was so hot and sunny. And we had tons of beer....:) We should get together this weekend sometime.. maybe BBQ ribs if i can talk nate into it.. should be hard knowing him!

  Wow this board is busy

  i guess that might say something in and of itself.. thanks to everybody who replied to my last post i just got through reading the responses.

  i have to say i didn't clarify my last post very well as i was pretty emotional at the time.

  i would definately fade out of the congo slowly if i could but the thing is i'm still living at home so it would be very hard to do.

  I wanted to wish you good luck in working through this. Its not easy, breaking it to your family is one of the hardest things to do. My mother didn't take it well at all when we sat down w/her last month(not that I could blame her) but the sad thing is she's in complete denial and in a way blames my husband. I don't have a whole lot of wisdom to impart but just know we are here for you any time you want to talk or just need to vent. This board is great for that.

  it brought tears to my eyes for someone so young to see things so clearly.

  why can't six million others see this simple reality and the need for change?.

  i just wanted to thank you for the public stand you are taking against the WTS and their continual protection of child molesters. some of my dearest friends growing up were subjected to this abuse as well and received no sympathy or help from the witnesses. big surprise there. reading all these stories breaks my heart. we need more people like you. thanks again.

  thank you brother focus for showing me the error of my ways and my prideful thinking. i was contemplating the joys of motherhood but now i see that it was selfish and rebellious thinking on my part. i thank you for your fine instruction that has arrived in a timely manner as all spiritual food does from the FDS.

  i'm from the northwest too, i grew up in seattle and then moved to arizona when i was 18 to get rid of it all and see if i could just work through some things on my own. i tell you that is the best thing i ever did. where in the northwest are you now?
