  They do allow divorce for infidelity, though they will encourage even those couples to stay together, lest they bring disrepute to the good name of Jehovah (lol?).

  Sorry, I've only just got this message as I have been unwell.
  
  I think it actually depends on the congregation where infidelity has occurred. So, in my old KH in Mt Florida, Glasgow there was a Bro and Sis df'd for fornication/adultery, fornication on her part, adultery on his. He was still with his wife even after getting reinstated. His wife was coerced I suppose to forgive him because to err is human and forgiveness is divine - or something.
  
  Compare and contrast that with the film called Deadly Devotion on youtube about Kim Anderson. I've linked this story which is really upsetting, so if you are not in a good place today, re: shunning, CSA then don't watch.

  Personally I really don't see the reason why some people obsess over this. I think its a battle of the egos. As with anything if you don't like what he does don't watch. IMO he got too big for his pants and he makes horrible decisions. But his personal life is none of my business. I did like his monthly discussion the GB videos. But its so boring to me all this Evens did this or that and nanana boo boo. But that is me.

Do you understand we don't like James Lloyd Evans on this forum? There are many reasons and if you just take the time to read through this thread particularly you will know why but let me save you the time, shall I?

  CSA perpetuated on a 14 year old in the country of Wales and escaped judgement when he ran to Croatia!

  Now is that someone who you want to be associated with? I don't want to be associated with Watchtower based on many of the reason listed above and neither do I wish to be associated with James Lloyd Evans.

  What JW is going to talk to him? Also, this would be fair game for any religious belief. He literally cannot help himself with the ideology that only he is right (wonder where he learned that!) These people will be challenged, because he just can't help himself. I wonder if he will interview any pagans? Or will it only be Christians he will be after?

  Actually, come to think of it. I just watched this man's story today and it is very telling of what it is like as a Jehovah's Witness.
  
  You are of course entitled to do what you please and follow the society if you want to but please be aware that your mental health will be ruined if you do. We are warning you so you will not fall into the same trap that we all did either by default or by design (born in or recruited at the door) because we care. We care about current Jehovah's Witnesses who are trapped within this organisation, we care about current Jehovah's Witnesses who do not realise they are trapped and we care about peope outwith the organisation and don't want you to fall into the same trap.
  
  If you have read all of this, watch the following story and any other story with an open mind and still continue on your path into Watchtower, I wish you luck on your journey and hope you never get harmed within it.

  How do you know that drugs were in play?

  I really hope that is a response to Sea Breeze who had made the comment about drugs in the first place. Whether she did, or did partake in drugs, should not be up for discussion as I have already highlighted in my previous comment. What should be up for discussion is her appalling and sickening behaviour after she knows what she has been through and how her victim would have felt!

  Manion became an outspoken advocate regarding CSA and is in a couple of documentaries. How she went from that to this is mind-blowing.
  

  WTF? How the hell can you go from being a CSA Survivor to this? As a CSA survivor - YOU KNOW HOW THAT HURT FEELS!!!!
  
  Really, really disappointed in Chessa's behaviour! Absolutely awful for the victim. I hope they feel the full extent of the law and the victim gets support.
  
  Chessa - how dare you! As a CSA Survivor I am appalled and feel physically sick! That crime is sickening! It is vomit inducing! Please, don't bring drugs into this. I turned to drugs when I was younger to deal with the abuse and how WT handled it, how they treated me and not once did I ever commit a crime as gross as this, in fact - any crime! Drugs are no excuse. This behaviour is inexcusable! Period!
