inside my head is a tangled ball of wool when it comes to what i believe.
i have days where i believe in a creator and other days when i don't.
then there are times when i refer to this as believing in 'something' but what exactly this something is, i have no idea.
My personal philosophy is that we should each share our own philosophy, but not push it on others.
Have you ever looked into deism or secular humanism? I'll admit, at times I wish my Creator(s) (if I have any) could intervene in my life, but I don't see it happening because of the injustices I see in the world, and compared to them, I'm small fry. But sometimes I find myself thanking an unknown entity when something seemingly miraculous happens to me. It doesn't hurt to, anyway.

threads arise were elderly jw's are discussed, and we see thoughts that it's ok to be a jw if it makes them happy, or that it would be cruel to tell them ttatt after having spent their entire lives as a jw.. on the flip-side, other threads discuss teens who commit suicide after their immediate families (including their own grand-parents) shun them, as does everyone else in their kh.
the outrage rises to the point where the tendency is to accuse anyone who's a part of the organization of sharing in the blood-guilt.
that actually makes sense to me: jws claim that even being a cook in the military violates the neutrality principle, since it frees up someone else to carry a weapon; hence being a member of the military in any capacity is sharing in the blood-guilt.

Awakening caused me to re-examine my beliefs and worldview. I no longer push what I believe onto others, something I did a lot when I was a JW. In our defence, we were brainwashed and told that if we didn't do it we would be bloodguilty.

Good question. I've thought of it before and even started a thread realated to it. I like to think of it as this: if I did something unlawful, and did not know so, am I exempt from consequences/punishment? No.
there are english speaking denominations that actively use the emphatic diaglott.
the wtb&ts is the only publisher providing new printings of this nt interlinear.
the r&f jehovah's witness doesn't use the diaglott (not even the jw version of it "kingdom interlinear translation" that supplanted it).
I tried ordering the Diaglott or Kingdom Interlinear from my Kingdom Hall, but I was told that it wasn't published anymore. I did manage to get both later. I think I read here that a few years ago only those that were "spiritual" could order it, not someone like brother Doubting Thomas. If you want a new copy of either or, you'd have to pay Bethel a visit, or buy it from someone. Should I sell or keep mine?
I saw a cat in the bag. Would've been more interesting if she had dug a hole and lit them on fire, but recycling is better. NWT paper is too thin to wipe anything. Reminds me of a time in field service a few months ago where I had to blow my nose and used a memorial invitation when no one was looking.

no one sane anxiously awaits for billions of people to die, and have scavengers do the dirty work for them, just so that they can get to pet lions and have endless family picnics.
who's going to clean up after all those scavengers?

Who's going to clean up after all those scavengers? And when they're done with their "job", what happens to them? When I was in I never had that mentality, and besides, I was constantly reminded that I didn't do enough. Has anyone heard the experience about a paralyzed JW who pioneered in the hospital during the month of April (30-hour requirement)?
