Are JW's scared of visiting apostate websites?
by yadda yadda 2 ini believe they are.
i think it's their biggest fear besides dying at armageddon.. there's a saying that anyone who reads ray franz's books is never the same again.
i think many jw's secretly know that there is information out there that would almost certaintly seriously damage their truth in their religion, and they are terrified of it.. they would rather keep their heads firmly stuck in the sand than even take a peek at critical information that might begin a slippery slope leading to the collapse of their unique worldview.. jw doing their version of the islam prayer:.

This whole web site is based on the fact that we disagree. I don't know if you are referring to my posts, but there are no insults in them. But it would do yourself some good to check past members who support JWs on this forum and check their posts and how much they insult and talk condescending ex-Jws. You would have to change ex-jws in your post to "members".

Since emeth is done with this post I respond to anyone who is reading this. When the generations teaching was changed every witness who stayed began regurgitating this line, "they were only serving for a date." making people who lost faith in the organization seem weak and not having true honest intentions to serve God. What they fail to mention is this was a core teaching used in the preaching work and studied out of the Live forever book (the main book being used to study with interested ones at the time). In other words they were bringing people into the organization using the date idea to begin with. Then of course when it turns out to be wrong JWs blaim people that were serving for a date. They were brought into the organization being told they would never die.
Of course as you can see, once again no one can explain my question. The same tired response of them not being infallible is used. When you can not openly question what someone teaches you without repercussions, that is no different than being infallible. There is still no explanation on how they receive communication from God if you claim to be his channel of communication. If you make that claim and it turns out you were wrong, you are not communicating for God, PERIOD. If you want to wake up with a smile on your face , go ahead.
Lastly I want to talk about the light gets brighter concept. This is what is used when the leaders decide they not God wants to change something. This concept would make more sense if let's say they openly said we do not understand the book of revelation but hope to in the future. But they have already made interpretations , many in fact that were wrong. Where did that light come from? When it's changed such as the generations teachings, where did that new incorrect light come from. The answer is obvious, from eight men who are no more capable of making up interpretations than you or I.

I think these guys that do these posts on how terrible we are and the organization has all the answers do more harm than good. They raise points and we answer them, we raise points and they tuck their tale and run. If there goal is to help lurkers or faders, they need to come with a valid defense rather than a post and run tactic.

@emeth
It is easy to come on here and say you have read and analyzed all of what apostates say and chose Jehovah's Witnesses. I suppose that is supposed to make a lurker question their own doubts as well as maybe make apostates think wait, how can he do that, am I missing something. The fact of the matter is you don't EXPLAIN any of the giant holes in there teachings. I will offer the same question do you as I did to SFPW. Explain to me how Jehovah channeled through the governing body for decades that the generation that saw 1914 will by no means pass away. Why did Jehovah say this? Did he lie to the Governing Body for all of those years only to have it changed when it mathmatically didn't work? The answer you initially will want to give is, well the Governing Body never claimed to be infallible. But that does not explain my question. Thats a way to ignore the conversation. Since all their information is presented as coming from Jehovah every time they print something. There is no questioning it or speaking out that something is wrong. I look forward to your response.

Watchtower Eliminated the "Evil Slave Class" according to E-Watchman? True or False?
by AuntConnie inlooking for information to make the july 15th, 2013 watchtower make sense, i came across the e-watchman website.
is he a jehovah's witnesses waiting for the reformation or a apostate like all of us on jwn?.
his post on the "faithful and evil slave" is very enlightening, according to his question he received from his readers, the watchtower said "there is no evil slave class" to eliminate fear the evil slave is working at bethel!.

To answer the original question that I did not see anyone else post, E-watchman's name is Robert King. He posted here years ago under the name "You Know". He always supported Jehovah's Witnesses and claimed to be one of the annointed while having issues related to the organization and Governing Body. He claimed he was not an apostate and looked down on those of us that are. Unfortunately even for him, the organization drove him to the point of getting himself disfellowshipped. When the UN scandal broke out he mailed many kingdom halls and elders about it and then wrote his own publication related to the scriptures which ultimately got him the axe. Ironically he still believes Jehovah's Witnesses are Jehovah's people and most of their biblical teachings. As time goes on he has grown much more critical of the organization and is really no different than other apostates here. I think he wrote an artical about the FDS in 2005 which was similar to the understanding the organization just changed to.

The problem with going back is you can stop coming here and not read anything and it will work for awhile. But guess what happens, the GB eventually does something that reminds you why you ended up here in the first place. You cannot forget what you know, and the organization has been pulling the same wool over JWs eyes for generation after generation, even the ones that overlap. This is my story. Good luck.

SFPW never answered my question on another thread, nor will he here. Data-Dog put the phone down, no need to call anyone.

Stands For True Worship - Blood
by problemaddict inhello sftw,.
when you have a moment.
why not have a respectful conversation about the societies blood doctrine, the evolution of that doctrine, and the implications of that doctrine.

This is rather pointless. If he/she can't answer your question he/she just avoids it by bringing up something else or doesn't respond at all.
