what i find bemusing is, if there are any disfellowshipped ones in your hall they have to sit at the back.
now without getting into the merits/rights/wrongs of whether this should be still acceptable, where do they sit in your hall?
you see i seem to remember that they would sit on the back row, come in quietly just after the song and prayer and leave at the end just as quick.
Well, there was a man in our hall DF'd and he would show up early go to the front of the hall and sit in the first row. He would then take his time leaving. He is now in good standing, was married in the hall, and keeps smiling(DA)!!!!
So, I think all DF'd should to the same!!

My heart goes out to Silentlambs. And to all the Brothers and Sisters that lose their business because of the org. I too am facing the difficult task of keeping business activities going and not upset the JWs involved financially. One wrong move, and I will lose my business.
It happened recently to a Brother when an elder screwed his wife.
The whole thing makes me mad.
We should all order candles and help Silentlambs maintain some financial stability.

today i found out that the elder i admired and thought to be above reproach, was commiting adultery.
the body of elders found out, and he was not removed.
he also gave his part at the assembly.. this is the same elder that told me not to get married.
Well, as the story continues, the poor Brother is no longer attending meetings and the sister tried to kill herself. The elder has suffered no repercussions!! This is the same elder that kept counseling about what I should be doing.
I would love to give names, dates, and places, but slander and gossip are things legal action could be taken on.
It makes me so mad to see how the org., can ruin someones life. Then tthey blame it on the person whos life has been destroyed. The whole thing makes me sick.
Anyway, just give me a gun.....(LOL)

The adulterous sister even admitted to the wrong doing. Go figure....Oh yeah...I'm getting married June 22.

today i arrived at work thinking that this would be a day like any other.
has been a combination of joy, sorrow, and relief.. my niece in new mexico left me a message this morning.
my sister died yesterday.

actually, i don't care if you ever were an elder if you can find the appropriate reference in the wt for the following situation:.
with all the discussion lately about the need for "two witnesses" to make an accusation valid, i've been thinking about divorce (and ultimately, remarriage) on the grounds of adultery.
in most cases, an adulterous mate does not commit the deed in public.
So.....
What if you have the confession from the mate on tape, but only stating that they stayed the weekend together? Of course there's a lot more to the story....
