Jesus and the two criminals dying beside him.....

i have been watching a couple of the movies retelling the life of christ and i was wondering about the words jesus said to the criminal who asked him to remember him.. the king james version reads: and jesus said unto him, "verily i say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise" luke 23:43. the new world translation reads: and he said to him "truly i tell you today, you will be with me in paradise.

" luke 23:43. the movie i was watching quoted or at least was closer to the king james version.

maybe i am wrong but the same scriptures seem to imply two different things.

Television Show Mentions Watchtower, USA

i watched the first 10 minutes of a television show here in the usa called the guardian a couple nights ago.

the show started with a scene of a girl in the hospital.

a man enters her room and it seems to be a friendly encounter between the two, he hands her a magazine.

A man enters her room and it seems to be a friendly encounter between the two, he hands her a magazine. She says something like, "Thank you.Oh it is The Watchtower!"

Did anyone else see this? BTW, FYI- The next scene was of the same man who gave the magazine to the girl having somekind of confrontation with a different woman, the woman in discust said something to the effect like we had sex three days ago and yaddy yaddy yaddy,.... I changed the channel ....

I live in America. I could without a doubt live in one of the major Cities of China.I loved it there, the people are just beautiful. I will be going back for 2 weeks in 2004. Great trip. Granted I was in Bejing where it is very Westernized and modern.

I asked him how do JW Baptize? In Whose name? He said The Father ,Son, and Holy Spirit. I read that is not how they Baptize. If he is correct I want to apologize to him. If I am right I want to point the fact to him about lying about something. This forum is great thanks for the help. I am trying to reach my brother. I am a born again Christian.
