  Hows come I wanna just sit on my ass today and do nothin?

  well my job cancelled today....it's raining and cold, my back is sore, and i'm in a good mood.. heres the problem,.

  my sweet little wife wants to do re-do our floors(old wood under the carpet ), and wants to re-finish them.

  i was all set for the weekend to start......but i've got today off and .....well.....there's no reason i shouldn't start now and get up off my butt.......but remember it's raining, my back is sore, and i'm having fun doing this right now.

  i grew up in a christian home and was always told not to accept flyers or magazines from jw's.

  My first thoughts are that you are only 18, and have a whole life ahead of you. Do you really want to get involved with this guy? Just from your brief intro., it is obvious that there are many problems already, and you haven't even met!

  It sounds to me that you have many doubts. Why do you think his mother is monitoring his cell-phone? Doesn't that give you an idea of the mentality of this religion?

  It's your choice, but if I were you, I would end this relationship before it turns nasty.

  Got one of those posh Etchy thingies, eh? You obviously come from a loving family. I've still got my one and only "Poor Man's Etch-A-Sketch". I treasure it. Slide to the right, slide to the left (rip!)...slide to the right, slide to the left (rip!)... It's so old, it's fossilized. I've always dreamed of having a *real* Etch-A-Sketch.

  Calling all British Bikers!

  my wife and i are organising a biking trip for anyone who wants to join us up to the west coast of scotland in september.

  we will be starting in liverpool ( i know, but it gets better) and going up the west coast till we get to skye.

  the trip will take 5 days and we will be stopping at stirling, fort william, isle of skye, return trip oban, liverpool.

  i came to this site via freeminds.com and am really quite surprised to learn that this site is maintained by active jw's (am i correct?

  - i'm a slow learner).

  i get the feeling i maybe getting the shun treatment, which is okay, for i understand that for the mindset from which it originates.

  somewhere along the line it was classified as a df'n offence.
