  how many of you, go to the occasional meeting?

  i no longer believe any of the things i was raised to believe... but for some reason i still go to the occasional meeting and i even went to the special assembly last weekend (even though i got there after lunch).

  i guess it will take a while to completely break away but i was wondering if anyone else is in this situation.

  EVERYTHING we think we know about God is provisional.

  I'm dismayed when any one single group declares itself to be the ONLY one that is right and infallible, and will single-handedly proceed to an "everlasting life" in some form or another, and that all others will "die" in some way or another. That kind of thinking is cultic, barbaric, hypocritical and sub-human.

  In fact your demanding them with CAPS kinda inclines me to ignore you. Neither do I need to give you yes or no answers. What right do you have to demand them?
  This, btw, is one of the few buttons that I have. It ranks right up there with telling me what I believe and adamantly refusing to accept any evidence to the contrary!

  So essentially what you are saying is that you must be "born again" to become a Christian, which leads to an eternal existence with God?

  SO, correct me if I am wrong, "born again" Christians are the only "true" Christians, and the only Christians (and indeed people, period), who will gain this "eternal life" and ALL other Christians/people will become "manure", as you put it?
