why isnt the Revelation book on the jw website.

i asked my mother( still very much active).

she said books made from '86 and before would not be online.

so we both looked at her physical revelation book and it was made in 88 so it should be there.

Remember a friend of mine who asked some questions at the bookstudy (he was actually on to something and smart - but we did not see that then). Well, one sister said to me after the bookstudy, that my friend needed a biblestudy to strengthen his faith!

Well, I can give you this advice: Do not destroy your hearing or your eyesight, they are precious in keeping you alive. Also, as you get older, it is important to train your balance. A good balance may prevent you from falling, which can cause broken bones and result in threatening but important surgery! I hope you will enjoy your " dolce far niente" after working hard! "My purpose is to enjoy what life I have and read all the good books I can" - Have you read any books of Ray Franz. I can recommend in search of christian freedom. Can also recommend any books by Stieg Larsson (sweden) and Jo Nesbø (Norway). Both authors have movies made from their books and they have been shown all over the world.

Can longtime posters on JWN be elitist? Kind of like elders in the hall?

i feel a little smugness from long time posters.

i got out as a kid 20 years ago and since i am a newbie here it feels like we are shown a little less respect.

Ha ha bigmac. Cool story. This may seem odd, but I think Jwn is very similar to any org. We have the elite and the rank & file. Many honest and idealistic newcomers get delusioned by all the crap some of the BOE write here.
