tornapart, I used to be a futurist but now fall more in line with the historicist, partial-preterist camp. From my research, futurism, specifically premillenial dispensationalism, is an Illuminati doctrine. The creator of this doctrine, a convicted criminal named Cyrus Scofield, was not only a contemporary of religious Illuminist agents Charles Taze Russell and Joseph Smith, he also had the same financial support. See The Incredible Scofield and His Book, by Joseph Canfield (http://www.scribd.com/doc/54737546/The-Incredible-Scofield-and-His-Book). To further support this view, there is a command in either the Talmud or the Kabbalah to mislead outsiders as to the timing of the 70 weeks. Obviously, a futurist view of the 70 Weeks naturally results in a Zionist political and religious outlook. Dispensationalism pretty much hinges on a futurist intepretation of the Weeks, specifically Daniel 9:27.
