Can't they see this shunning crap just makes people run back to their families because they are lonely, homeless or miserable. Not because they love the religion. Is that what they want? People who just want their family back? People who are just faking it?

Thanks Barbara.
The new buzzword is "The Assyrian"
God's people will be attacked by "The Assyrian"
In an elders school last year, the instructors said when The Assyrian attacks, we can't expect to have the backing of the Branch or the Slave. - xjwsrockWhy are they now calling the attacker of religion the Assyrian? Which Bible prophecy is that? The main thing I remember the WTS saying about the Assyrians is that they were extremely cruel to their prisoners. Are they trying to frighten people? No wonder there's mental health problems.

She displayed a literature cart in front of my house: That does it for me!
by Tempest in a Teacup inis this something they've asked them to do?
cart displays in front of their homes?
my mom is only in her mid 60s so i'm quite sure this is not an issue of mental illness.. the only illness she's suffering from is boredom since she's refused to work for years now.

JWs know nothing about respecting personal boundaries because their religion teaches them they don't have any. They can be told how to live every personal aspect of their lives by an organization and their conduct is policed by elders.
You need to introduce your mother to the concept of personal boundaries now! If she forcibly moved into your house then she has no respect for you whatsoever, you need to teach her to respect you. It's not going to be easy but the sooner you start the better.

Awful, Kingdom Hall, line dancing and 400 people. We only invited 200 but the rest were gate crashers. Delightful true Christians! The best man did a horrible play on stage about my husband. It took me years to persuade him this creep hated him. Anyway it didn't matter, I still married the love of my life. I was very lucky.
