  Thanks GreatTeacher. I love flowers too, particularly growing them from seed. So magical watching seedlings pop up then later flower. My hydrangeas are really slow too but the Viburnums I bought in March are flowering, so exciting. Will try and post pictures but I find it it very slow posting photos on here from my iPad. Sometimes I leave it going round and round but come back hours later and it's posted.

  Why do witnesses feel the need to put JW ORG on all their social media sites?

  have you all noticed the obsession witnesses have of putting jw.org on all their social media sites like facebook, twitter, instagram etc?.

  so many put it in their bio section...like some sort of loud proclamation to other witnesses that they are righteous and spreading the message.. it's also very lazy.

  now with no personal effort at all, they can just say jw.org and be "witnessing".

  do you have any funny stories to share even if at that time they may not have been funny at all due to impending consequences.

  When they brought in the rule about not smoking, in the seventies I think it was, my mother went through hell giving up. It's bad enough when people normally try to give up but they threatened her with being disfellowshipped if she didn't. No pressure!

  Can't they see this shunning crap just makes people run back to their families because they are lonely, homeless or miserable. Not because they love the religion. Is that what they want? People who just want their family back? People who are just faking it?

  The new buzzword is "The Assyrian"
  God's people will be attacked by "The Assyrian"
  In an elders school last year, the instructors said when The Assyrian attacks, we can't expect to have the backing of the Branch or the Slave. - xjwsrock

  Why are they now calling the attacker of religion the Assyrian? Which Bible prophecy is that? The main thing I remember the WTS saying about the Assyrians is that they were extremely cruel to their prisoners. Are they trying to frighten people? No wonder there's mental health problems.
