Countries like the U.S. and South Africa have far more complex issues socially and economically because of slavery than people in Canada, England, and France can often understand.

How do you know what we can and cannot understand in the UK Cagefighter? Education is not about being in the countries where issues are happening! Statements like yours leave me speechless. Have you ever been to my country? I've been to yours.

Yeah I'm just a Brit in the Twilight Zone. I hate stereotypes myself. There is a stereotype over here in lil old England of Americans who have never been outside their own country and they think America is the centre of the universe. They say things like Paris, France and Rome, Italy in case we forget where they are. But as I say I hate stereotypes and would never assume Cptkirt is like that. I'm sure he's not at all racist after all he claims to be very clever.

When I was a JW I was taught that we are blank slates and there is no knowledge or truth within us. We know nothing unless we are taught it by the gb. I have found reality to be just the opposite. Not sure why I am bothering, cue excremental remarks.

Yes I think there are many psychopaths in the JWs. Jon Ronson in The Psychopath Test quotes psychiatrists who believe that psychopathy is a trait found in approx. 1 in a 1000 people. These are not all serial killers obviously but as you say people without empathy, remorse or guilt. Many of them end up in politics or big business.

Certainly the gb show no guilt for the way their teachings sentence people to death. They don't seem to have any empathy for people and feel no remorse for the misery they cause. They are masters of superficial charm and their grandiose sense of self-worth is off the scale. Anyone who disagrees with them is out.

- today being just over 40 years since the congregation's retards elders made me abandon my apprenticeship.. (in this part of the world, the pre-1975 hype was taken to that level.

not being content to prevent young persons attending university, they went one step further and treated with hostility any youngster who would "tie up five years of their lives" by entering into an apprenticeship.

Wishing you the best of luck Bill, hope it goes well. It took eight years and I finally got my degree when I was 43. So I agree with your advice, kids go to university straight after school!
