She displayed a literature cart in front of my house: That does it for me!
by Tempest in a Teacup inis this something they've asked them to do?
cart displays in front of their homes?
my mom is only in her mid 60s so i'm quite sure this is not an issue of mental illness.. the only illness she's suffering from is boredom since she's refused to work for years now.

JWs know nothing about respecting personal boundaries because their religion teaches them they don't have any. They can be told how to live every personal aspect of their lives by an organization and their conduct is policed by elders.
You need to introduce your mother to the concept of personal boundaries now! If she forcibly moved into your house then she has no respect for you whatsoever, you need to teach her to respect you. It's not going to be easy but the sooner you start the better.

Awful, Kingdom Hall, line dancing and 400 people. We only invited 200 but the rest were gate crashers. Delightful true Christians! The best man did a horrible play on stage about my husband. It took me years to persuade him this creep hated him. Anyway it didn't matter, I still married the love of my life. I was very lucky. -

Evolution is a Fact #12 - Lenski's E. coli Experiment
by cofty inevolution works by the non-random selection of random mutation.
natural selection accumulates favourable random chance events.. the experiment that was began on 24th february 1988 on e coli bacteria by dr richard e. lenski and his team is surely one of the clearest demonstrations of the power of this process.. e.coli is one of the commonest bacterium on earth, there is around 100 billion, billion of them in the world at any given time and around 1 billion of them in your gut right now.
most of the time they cause no problem, until a new strain wreaks havoc on its host's digestive system.. if we assume the probability of a particular gene mutating to be 1 in a billion, the size of the population is so high that just about every gene in the e.coli genome will have mutated somewhere in the world every day.

A mutation had occurred that conferred no advantage the bacterium but it primed it to take advantage of a later mutation
Fascinating. That explains a great deal. This is very helpful, I'm finding the details of evolution starting to drop into place.
