I'm I the only one who finds peter Andre really creepy, cheesy and slimly?
by purrpurr inin the uk the bbc show strictly come dancing has this season been plagued by the greasy slime ball that is peter andre.. for those who are fortunate enough to not know who he is, he's a one hit wonder, married a model with extremely plastic front bits, now to be found on what ever z list tv programmes will have him, he advertises for the supermarket iceland which is where the chavs go to shop, he is extremely in love with himself oh and he was brought up a jw.. thankfully tonight common sense has prevailed and the stupid twat has been booted off the show!.
or does anyone else feel the same?.
btw can you tell... i really don't like him?

I do find him annoying, but not offensive in any other way. I don't know anything about that charity event - could be a bit of unsubstantiated gossip. He has a pretty good reputation among celebrities - the only bad "inside" information I've heard about him is that he's extremely vain. But then a lot of us are aren't we?. That said, I wouldn't complain if I never saw him on my TV screen ever again. -

i know that my relationship with jehovah is not influenced by any outside factors.

I don't know why but this OP and thread make me feel a little bit nauseous. I think I had better stay away. -

Headline: "Islamic Invasion: Europe now scrambles for guns." How true is this?
by cappytan ina year to a year and a half ago, i would have taken this article at face value and believed it.. now, i realize this article comes from a dubious source.
world news daily has a die-hard right-wing bias.
so, in an effort to get real information, i'm asking my european exjw's, is this article all true?

Interesting analysis here. Apparently all of us have got it wrong (unsurprisingly) https://plus.google.com/+YonatanZunger/posts/RN2yx54bxPa -

I don't think anyone who was arguing for helping the refugees was suggesting a "let everyone in to Europe without checks" policy. The temptation is to use the discovery of the passport as proof that helping the refugees is the wrong thing to do. But that overlooks the fact that most of the suicide gunmen appear to have been european citizens and were not migrants....
The Paris tragedy was horrific and my heart goes out to everyone affected. Like a lot of people, I stayed up most of friday night/saturday morning watching the 24 hour news as the situation developed and then got under control. The unity and support shown for the French people is moving and heartwarming.
Of course "us Europeans" shouldn't forget that we are not the only target for ISIS, as the horrific suicide bombing in Beirut on Thursday demonstrated and which unfortunately got next to no media coverage. But those victims were human beings too and they count and they are worthy of our sympathy, solidarity and support as much as our French brothers and sisters
As all too few people have pointed out, the biggest number of ISIS victims are Muslims, but somehow we overlook that fact in the "them and us" arguments we have on threads like these.
As Village Idiot said, somehow we have to get creative to help our fellow human family in need as well as try and stay safe ourselves.
The answer isn't to turn off our compassion for our fellow humans. That's exactly what ISIS want.
I was sickened by Donald Trump's comment that, had the French had guns themselves, this tragedy wouldn't have happened. Complete and utter tosh, obviously, but just goes to show how people twist tragedies such as this to support their own political agenda and posturing.

So after giving a carefully worded press statement that the Chelmsford construction would be going ahead as planned, they are now saying it will be reduced in scope. Hmmm 😉

Crazy things said by Higher Rank Witnesses
by GrownMidget init was the week when circuit overseer comes and my relatives wanted to offer the food.
i had got my school friend, a muslim girl, going into the meetings and she actually progressed and went to the field service, but never got baptized and one day she just disappeared.well anyway, this overseer comes for the free lunch and then when we are sitting in the table with his wife and my relatives, the muslim girl comes as the subject.
overseer throws out this absurd asshole joke that because their family doesn't like witnesses his father will come with a truck and drives it through the kingdom hall wall and then it explodes.

I remember a circuit overseer Albert Broad saying in his sunday talk that we shouldn't eat red smarties because they contain cochineal, which he said, was beetles blood. True story. -

Yeah as Searcher said, evidence is the key. Don't tell him anything you can't back up with concrete evidence otherwise it is just hearsay that his witness contacts will refute and use to undermine your credibility. -
