i would say paul is right 90%+ of the time.
some things are just things that are outdated, on other occasions, things are partially right and just need to be tweaked.anyhow... one of the articles is "where else would i go"?since i am an atheist, ideally, for me, the answer would be "become at least agnostic, if not atheist, and lead an evidence-based life".

Interesting but didn't they already start to implement this? If you don't wear a convention badge, you're going to be questioned before they let you in. Lots of security last year. When I was an attendant and they told us to keep our eyes out for suspicious persons. Several attendants were security detail.
Pocket checks? Really? I doubt this.

Sorry, I think this is borderline propaganda.
It's most unfortunate, that is all HuffPo has become these days. Anti-Christian, anti-white, anti-western propaganda. Where is the objective reporting? Where is the balance? Is everything now 100% op-ed? Seems so.
As much as I personally think fundamentalist Christians are a bunch of lunatics, they can't be seriously compared to ISIS or the dozens of other radical Islamic terror groups out there that all formed around Islam. From Boko Haram to Jaish e Mohammed, the main goal is conquest by force or death through Islam.
When an Islamic terror attack occurs, the first response I hear from outlets like HufffPo is, "but the Crusades!" Pathetic and very, very telling. Which is why the situation is spiraling out of control.

I think the History channel has a great documentary about this and other ancient "seers." They claimed that many of the ancient seers lived in caves, like John, and hallucinated due to gases that collected inside the caves. Once you start to dig a little, it all makes sense.
And just for the hell of it, everyone should smoke a blunt before reading Revelation. It all becomes so clear!

all was going fine... well, i say fine, i mean the usual cheesy videos, rehearsed reactions from jeffrey jackson (you remember him, the one who told half truths and lies at the royal commission) and propaganda from jw land.. the last feature brings up 9/11 and the paris 2015 attack at the bataclan.
just as im thinking "how are they gonna spin this in their direction" i hear these words:.

This is the problem with many tabloids today. There are three types of tabloid articles: 1. Those that usually interject some truth into a stupendous article written for attention. 2. Those that are 100% pure BS. 3 Actual true stories that are true and the mainstream media won't cover. Reader beware but certainly don't discount everything. With that said, knowing the inside operations of the JW cult, this article is probably 100%.

You raise a good point but this sort of "us versus them" mentality permeates, even is the foundation of the JW cult. To a JW, a witness life is worth more than a Catholic life. Fact. To be fair, this can be applied to nearly all religions and cults which is why religion is a double edged sword, serving the purpose of both the pacifier and agitator.

The high cost of medical care correlates with the big awards in civil courts related to medical malpractice and drugs that produced more problems than solutions. Add to that the retirement of the biggest generation, the baby boomers. We Americans are quite ready to demand millions for our suffering, while pretending not to know that it is our neighbor and family members who ultimately will pay for those millions awarded in the U.S. courts. Politicians can not fix the high cost of healthcare and they know it, but found it as an opportunity to score political points by ranting about the other party ill advised policies.
Indeed. As I said in my first statement, this bill is not a fix by any means but Obamacare has go to go. Take the entire healthcare system apart and rebuild. Impose huge fines and long prison time for those who commit insurance fraud. Create an online taskforce where one can anonymously report insurance fraud and welfare fraud and the like. Many doctors are committing fraud as well. Everyone is milking the system and that has got to end.
