  i know most of you don't know what anonymous is or what the real 4chan is, but both are saying that their global meta data is pointing that now with south korean elections going to a pro war candidate (moon, who is a psycho) and china saying there may be no other solution, north korea will strike first before the end of this year.

  So to get logical results from hard work and trying to live ethically a central point to remember is get out of a cult first! If you're in a bad situation, and you can insert, war zone, poverty, serious illness, cult, whatever and your karma law number one does not happen do you see?

  You are certifiable. Do you know what FWIW stands for? It means FOR WHAT IT IS WORTH. Do you know what that means?

  Did you even read my OP? I literally said, "Take it with a grain of salt." That means, it could be nothing but a steaming pile of shit or it could be something to keep an eye out for. Why you continue to make a big deal out of this is beyond me. I didn't write the post by Anon. I didn't collect the metadata. I'm simply the messenger.

  No need to put words into my mouth. I never said that. The article says that, not me. But again, the point being, from a logical standpoint is that you can expect to get back what you put in. Don't look further than that.

  Karma is not about reciprocity or positive feedback. It is a supernatural belief in a fundamental justice in the universe. It is a new-age religion rooted in Buddhism. Don't blame me for pointing out that fact.

  I don't understand the aggression here. I know what Karma is about. I know the background very well. If you read the title of my thread, it says,

  Notice the quotes around "karma?" Notice how I said we can benefit from "some simple wisdom?" I'm not promoting Karma as a religion or belief system; I'm simply stating there is something beneficial from the 12 laws of karma for us to learn from. No need to look further into than that.

  Karma assumes an unknown force that balances the scales of justice.

  That is woo-woo. It is a childlike longing for a fair world that does not exist.

  Once again, you are entirely missing the point of my post. I'm an atheist. End of discussion. I don't believe in any super natural powers anywhere. I'm a man of science, logic and reasoning. There is rarely justice in this world and when it does occur, it is a result of coincidence. With that said, the point of my post was about the positive influence of thinking in these terms. Positive people are usually surrounded by positive people; thus the positive feedback loop. Every hear of reciprocity or "paying it forward?" That's the point. That's all. Stop being so negative.

  Numbers 2 & 3 are very good advice.

  Number 1 is nonsense. There is no unseen judge balancing the scales. Do good because that is the sort of world you prefer to live in. Don't expect rewards or retribution.

  First of all there are 12 laws, not 3. Secondly I think you are missing the point entirely of rule 1. Rule 1 is like the "Golden Rule" and has nothing to do with retribution but rather just doing good for the positive feedback loop. As an atheist, I don't expect any reward but doing good is beneficial for everyone.

  North Korea's ambassador to the UK has told Sky News his country will go ahead with its sixth nuclear test at the time and place of its leader's choosing.
  

  "The US cannot attack us first," the ambassador said, adding: "If the US moves an inch, then we are ready to turn to ashes any available strategic assets of the US."
