Lloyd Evans, Philandering & Sex Slaves
by Marbles inthe argument made by le supporters that his philandering is "between him and his wife" is a fallacy.
philandering is a real social problem that affects many families (including mine).
it's pretty apparent now that le has been using his wife and his in-laws to boost his writing career, and now that he has achieved his goals, he will discard them.

The argument made by LE supporters that his philandering is "between him and his wife" is a fallacy. Philandering is a real social problem that affects many families (including mine). It's pretty apparent now that LE has been using his wife and his in-laws to boost his writing career, and now that he has achieved his goals, he will discard them. He has used Amazon to publish, and his You Tube channel to market his book, for those who don't know how this business model works. Reddit seems "in" on it because they silence any criticism of him lest it impact his profits. Yet LE freely criticizes the "anonymous" commenters who criticize him because, in his words, "they have no skin in the game." LE stated that his trip to Thailand was to "see if he could live without his family." It looks to me like he is pushing for a divorce. It doesn't look like his wife and in-laws have been pushing for a divorce or they would have kicked him to the curb a long time ago like he deserved. Instead, they have allowed him to live with them even though it is against Watchtower rules. I can't believe people will support a scammer like this, least of all financially!
Furthermore, sex slavery is also a real social problem. Jeffrey Dahmer injected hydrochloric acid into the skull of his victims because he was trying to create zombies who would be his sex slaves. Ariel Castro kidnapped young women and held them hostage as sex slaves in his house, then committed suicide in prison when he got caught. We all know about Jeffrey Epstein. John McAfee (McAfee anti-virus software) married an African American prostitute, which, to my eyes, was his clever attempt to "legalize sex slavery." He also committed suicide (recently). Todd Kohlhepp murdered the boyfriend of a woman who came onto his property to do some clean-up work and chained the woman up inside a storage shed to be his sex slave. And there have been more, many more! Yeah, I'm sure all the criticism isn't good for LE's mental health, that's why many of these guys commit suicide when they are caught. But obviously, they had no regard for the mental health of their victims, and also their families!
You would think that exposing what are clearly lies of the Bible, and the WT Society, we would find real truth and liberation. But no. Instead, we only find a man who wants absolute sexual freedom without any sense of duty or care for his wife, children and in-laws. He has tapped into an unlimited source of income, since there will always be people coming out of the WT Society. Yes, he has found his gold mine now, and his family is worthless by comparison. So yes, Lloyd, it looks like you can in fact live without your family. Bravo!

Lloyd Evans has gone over the top and is sitting on everyone's head. At this point, he is like Humpty Dumpty. He's gonna fall. Or he already has, and no one can help him.
Not that it is important, but I went to Javier's FB page and viewed some of the videos. One of them included LE interviewing either CSA victims/survivors or their parents. LE was sitting on a couch wearing white socks (no shoes), like some kind of eccentric idiot, while all this expensive camera equipment surrounded the people he was interviewing.
He has ruined any future career he might have by using You Tube to promote his book. There are a few YT video creators who create content like "How Lloyd Evans Ruined His You Tube Career."
I'm going to send him over to them as a potential candidate for one of their videos. -

Why do you call yourselves "apostates?"
by Marbles inwell let me clarify the question.
i know you call yourselves apostates because the bible defines people who leave their previously held beliefs as apostates.
my question means, if the bible is not true (and i don't think it is) then there is no such thing as an apostate.i have never been a jw, only a bible student with them.

Lots of great answers! It wouldn't be fair of me to say which one is my favorite (I want to), but...if you want me to say which one is my favorite in a couple days, either like or dislike this post and I will make a decision based on the likes or dislikes.

I forgot to say, he could have (and probably should have) been reported to You Tube for that comment "there will always be a small minority who are concerned with what I do with my di(k." This guy is truly pushing it. He is at the level of "Roosh" that sex tourist guy who gave advice to incels about how to pick up chicks, and who got banned from Amazon for publishing sex tourism books.

After learning that he has no control of his di(k, he would be the last person I would want to discuss CSA with.
His public confessions, (by plural I mean those included in his book as well as his You Tube video discussing the information posted by Kim on reddit [and removed, of course]) seemed somewhat exhibitionistic. I can only imagine him listening to the stories of CSA as being voyeuristic. This is the very disturbing image I have of him now, though I am certain he would rather people entertain an image of him taken at face value, like I did at first. I wish I didn't dislike him so much, but I do dislike him because he is a threatening sexual predator who is getting away with it right in front of our eyes.
I'm sure the public criticism isn't good for his mental health. I think he should step away from this. This isn't about religion or having a cult mind set. Part of a woman's function is the biological role of being a mother. Lloyd puts no value on this aspect of womanhood, obviously. -

"How do I View the World After Leaving the JW's?"
So, you asked this question and then posted what seems to be your answer(s).
But if I interpret your question as a question, like a real question to a non-JW (I have never been a JW), then I would answer your question with-
Keep your world view local, but also keep an eye on mass production, and the billionaires that come with it, being regulated more seriously and either forced to close or forced to stop polluting the atmosphere with carbon and creating severe and deadly storms.
This past August we had a massive forest fire near where I live, and I do mean massive. It burned for two and one half weeks and the locals were forced to evacuate. I stayed behind because I was caring for a mother cat on the property, two father cats, five kittens, and one unknown small cat (who, it turns out was also nursing kittens but was needing extra food, so she ate the food I was feeding the semi-feral cats). As a result of all the carbon from the fire we had a severe winter. The rain just wasn't rain, it beat down severely for more than a week, multiple times. It did not just snow. It snowed for so many days it snapped the power lines and we were without electricity for a week and a half- the entire town, including all businesses. One local gas station owner could not operate his debit card machine without power to sell gas, so he himself actually had to buy gas for his car from a competing local gas station. This town knows for certain about climate change, global warming, and its relationship to mass production factories, though in this case it was related to the fire.
My world view though is this- I found a little family of cats (actually they found me, and they will not come inside) to care for. They truly need me and they would have a terrible life if I did not provide care for them. I contacted the Humane Society and they provide me with half a month's food supply, and paid to have them all spayed and neutered and get rabies shots. I make personal sacrifices for them so that they can have some semblance of a normal happy cat life. They have a safe and secure enclosed area on my porch. I have bought tarps, a tent, heating pads, blankets, a heat lamp, and more. I have happiness vicariously. Sometimes happiness can be found in making sacrifices in caring for and helping some living thing that really needs you. -

Okay, but from an outsider's point of view (mine anyway) it looks like the equivalent of calling yourself a racial slur, or some really profane word, actually. Maybe like calling yourself a mother f%cker? I just wanted to let you people know what it looks like from a non-JW point of view.
I won't always be posting my observations from an outsider's point of view, but sometimes I will! Just you making the statement that "it's an offense that many have been charged with in a judicial committee" triggers my outsider point of view perspective, for instance.
The JW governing body are just sick in the head for doing this. They have adopted the Jewish rules and regulations (many of which are just flat out missing from the Bible) that the Jewish people used during the Sanhedrin- a Jewish Court of Law independent of the State Court of Law. The Sanhedrin had High Priests and a far greater number of elders than eight, or however many elders there are per congregation. I agree with some of the comments I have seen posted around You Tube and occasionally reddit. It's not a religion, it is a corporation. More likely a real estate development corporation.
I have a JW neighbor who used to be a real estate developer. He has this massive warehouse of heavy equipment that he used to use, I guess, but never uses anymore on his shambles and brambles of property. I kind of believe he thinks all our neighbors will be killed during Armageddon and then he will haul out his heavy equipment and turn the neighborhood into his personal paradise. -

Well let me clarify the question. I know you call yourselves apostates because the Bible defines people who leave their previously held beliefs as apostates. My question means, if the Bible is not true (and I don't think it is) then there is no such thing as an apostate.
I have never been a JW, only a Bible student with them. I personally wish I never even opened that book. Anyhow, from an outsiders perspective, the word apostate is so derogatory, and it also seems like such a threatening word if you refer to yourself as that to religious or even non-religious people. I do not think it is necessary for you to refer to yourselves as apostates. Just my opinion. But if you have a specific reason for using this word to describe yourselves, I would like to hear it. -

It's my opinion that religion (of all denominations, not just JWs) attracts so many sex offenders because for starters, the Garden of Eden is a sexual fantasy. The Bible is a fantasy of an ideal, utopian world, the same as Democracy, the idea of justice and fairness for all regardless of race or gender is an ideal for a utopia, except some level of Democracy can actually be achieved in the present. If I were you, I would just plainly tell him that you have been advised against this religion and you're sorry but you will not be contributing to this cause for him.
