  Is Jesus Christ, Jehovah God? (Not the Father, but Equal to the Father)

  (not the father, but equal to the father)what if the watchtower told you about god in a false way, and yet the bible taught you about god in his true character, how would you respond?could it be true, that the watchtower have been leading you up the garden path, describing god in a way that the bible does not describe?

  In between the old testament and new testament there is a 400 year period called the intertestamental period. The 400 years of silence.

  During this period the rabbis were debating some of the weirdness happening in the old testament. We have an invisible god no one can see but for some reason people meet and talk with him. Sometimes god refers to himself in the plural. Sometimes lord refers to god in the second person. Sometimes god is one, sometimes he is more than a single being. Sometimes a figure called the angel of Lord or word of Lord speaks as god.

  When you read the new testament and know your old testament it becomes pretty obvious who the authors think Jesus is. He is the visible image of the invisible god. Know one has seen god, Only the son etc etc.

  How it all works ? Who knows. Bible isn't entirely clear but it is pretty on who the authors think Jesus is.

  what are you thoughts on this?.

  i find this alarming because jones was very outspoken and had great guests on discussing topics most other media outlets wouldn't go near.. the fact that many have restricted him access to their medium what does this say on our freedoms of speech?.

  Alex Jones reminds me exactly of what the Wts does. Say horrible and slanderous things about everyone and finally when someone says or does anything, the great persuasion is apon us.

  Is Jesus the Alpha + Omega?

  is jesus the alpha and omega?

  the watchtower make a bold brass article on their own website claiming that jesus is not the alpha and omega, yet however, god's word explains in clear detail that he is the alpha and omega... do we therefore trust what the watchtower says?

  or do we trust what god says?.

  Throughout the old testament you have rather ambiguous statements like " the word of Lord appeared and the Lord said, or the angel of the lord appeared and the Lord said. God appears in physical manifestions somehow separate from god. I don't fully understand it but it there.

  The book of revelations really reaffirms what is going in in the old testament.

  a thrift store down the street is run by members of a small, local christian congregation.

  evangelical but not sure what religion they are affiliated with.

  they have set up the store as a non-profit and have a specific use for the funds they acquire.

  I ran into a couple pioneers shopping at a Christian thrift store once. They were looking for cheap ties.

  Man were they surprised to see me.

  I don't know if that actually breaks the rules.

  I think all that really matters is our market driven pensions and savings plans are going down and our mortgages are going up.

  Pretty soon soon the dollar store will be the Five dollar store.

  All so I can get a job at a Nike factory. They will be flying off the shelves at 9000 dollars a pair.

  Venezuela oil worker video assembly

  for anyone who didn't have the pleasure of attending the assembly , they has a video of a venezuelan man who with 20 years experience was asked to sign a card stating he was a member of a political party to keep his job.

  he choose to become a day labour with three kids to feed.. i work in a union shop with a few jws and we had to join the union to remain employed.

  i have never been to a meeting.

  What bugged me was poor Pedro talking about how it would bother his conscience if he signed the card even if no one knew.

  if you can whitewash a 100 years of prophetic failures, doctrinal flip flops and thousands of pending child molestation cases and I am pretty sure your conscience can survive a pointless gesture.

  I just read BMW and Boeing nixed plans to expand production in the US.

  If you can't use foreign made parts in the assembly process and you sell internationally without tariffs, there is really no point.

  Christians join the military to protect the nation from threats from the Islamic world or North Korea.

  The idea that two people who claim to be Christian and subscribe to same belief system are going to be in open combat with each other is ridiculous. The world has changed.

  Obama was just an administer president. Really nothing but a public service who did his best with what he had to work with. Clinton would have been exactly the same. Who really cares about her private email server or how much money the Clinton Foundation has.

  It's these Republican presidents that have to leave a legacy. First Bush wants bring democracy to the middle east now Trumps wants a trade war with the entire planet.

  Please give me a lame duck next term before interest rates and inflation skyrocket.
