Poll/ So Who Do You Think Will Win The Presidency?

i have always felt trump will win again.

i just don’t see biden winning.. what’s your prediction?.

I predict this election will have a voter turn out of maybe 25% or less. I don't think voting is worth catching covid. The entire election will be a farce.

That being said I think Trump voters are more likely to stand shoulder to shoulder in poorly ventilated spaces than Biden voters.

I think the Democrats could stand a chance if they would have picked a candidate who was a little younger with a little more personality. Its almost as bad as when the Republicans picked McCain.

What do I know, I am not even American.

Did you feel contempt for Non Witnesses

the other day i went to this farm owned by this jw lady with my wife being a jw and my mother being a non witness.

later taking to my mother she noticed this vibe like this jw lady really hated her.

she just had these little slags like when we tried to pay for the fruit we picked , she looked directly at my wife and said " don't worry about it, i only charge wordly people ".. i also have this aunt who is a jw we are estranged from.

So what camp does everyone fall into to ?

a. Raised by Uber zeolites, didn’t know much or anything about the non witness family, if there even was any.

b. Converted to the cult. Turned back or slowly grew apart with non witness family.

c. Lived a peaceful and respectful existence with non witness family.

My wife is kind of weird. She is quite close with cousin who is with her husband is a Methodist minister team. They just don’t talk religion.

One day her Uber friend came with her and once in the house of her cousin she pulled out some watchtowers . Her cousin was kind of pissed off about it . When the Uber left she remarked to my wife how rude she thought her cousin was. FFS

I have always found it odd how little contact they have with Non jw non immediate family. For years we have always invited my aunt , uncle and cousins to every wedding, funeral , family reunion ......even before we had a falling out.
Nothing, nada, zero. Not even a reply.

I also have this Aunt who is a JW we are estranged from. She was married to my Uncle who passed from cancer years ago. When he got sick we said some things to her about him getting rest and not eating quick and processed foods. Of course she took that as we were opposers since they were both pioneers. Never had the time to cook a healthy or proper meal. I often wonder how many active JWs actually go to family reunions.

Do these people realize when they are trying to convert people that people do pick up on the " we hate you vibe ", or am i seeing something that isn't there.

Received a letter from a JW today.

it started off as "dear friend ,as one of your neighbours" , however the postmark on the letter was from 2 townships away ?

a good twenty minute car drive away .a minor point i know.

it goes on about how she is concerned about the effects that current events are having on the welfare of the community and the corona-virus has prevented her from discussing the issues personally with me.. she then goes on to state and quote jeremiah 29:11 and then goes on to say "for more information about this promise and other questions like :.

I used to get hand written letters in my mail box. They talked god and Jesus and such. No mention of the WTS or jehovah witnesses. I use to think it was quite sincere that someone would take the time to do that.

Years later, married to a JW and I see my wife doing the same thing. I now realize it is about wasting time. You count the time writing the letters instead of using a photocopier . What an absolute joke.

JW's and the National Anthem/Flag

one thing we were always taught in the past is how we should sit down and pray (kneel) to jehoober whenever we were at an event where they played the national anthem.

we had to actively disrespect the flag and anthem and be no part of the world, because we were our own country with jesus as king.. given kneeling/sitting for the national anthem is now the favorite pastime of the far-left and if you do so, you get associated with democrats, how do jehovah's witnesses now 'become no part of this world' when they have to disrespect the flag?.

My wife will stand but not sing. I always thought that was the JW policy or the current one.
