@Thomas Thomas, when you really think about it, how many people actually take it seriously when someone says they're anointed? In my hall, everybody always calls those people crazy. "Oh there's no way brother or sister so-and-so are anointed! They'll barely make it into paradise!" I'm sure you've heard similar things. So if that's the general attitude, it doesn't reflect well on people who claim to have faith in "Jehovah's organization".

This religion is way too restrictive
by Walrus ini need to vent about some stuff that this religion does to just about anyone at this point.
so i was raised in this religion and when i was 12 or 13 i told my mom (and step dad which has made my decision much firmer) that i didn’t want to be a witness because it’s too restrictive.
my mom proceeded to cry and guilt trip her way into ending this conversation.

That Local Needs brother is so full of himself. You can tell he's just loving every minute of it. There probably isn't a humble bone in his body. He's most likely a bully that loves the judicial aspect of being an elder. And I'm willing to bet money that he's most likely the COBE, and if he wants anybody's opinion he'll give it to them. The way he says, "I wonder what Jehovah sees," at around 55:05 makes me want to punch a brick wall. Can you imagine how his Local Needs talk would be if the topic were sexual? I don't know a thing about that man personally, and I could be completely off the mark, but something about him just reminds me of all the evil that elders are capable of. -
