Why is it so hard for you to recognize the harm that the teachings of the cult of Islam inflicts?

So, how does that revenge at the expense of the brainwashed masses feel?
How do you ban supporters feel knowing that the GB has yet another persecution horse to beat?
For me? I'm devastated because I know how well this ban will play to the cognitive biases of my family who are still in.

Could a petition to make shunning illegal work?
by aboveusonlysky inwe're currently watching leah remini's series about scientology and the main thing she seems to focus on is the shunning policies of the scientology organization which let's face it are very similar to jw procedure.. i was wondering with all that's in the media recently about bullying could a petition be put together to get the goverment to consider making religiously mandated shunning illegal?

You aren't disfellowshipped anymore for accepting a blood transfusion. They say that you have disassociated yourself.

You might want to read up on Fascism.
It can be defined as "a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control"... That's what's occurring. Beyond your semantics, this ban is an affront to liberty and freedom.You wanna talk about being myopic? BANS DON'T WORK ON JWs. We already know this. Yet some think banning the entire religion is A-OK in their book.

Yes, children are vulnerable in the organization.
If you're so concerned about JW children in Russia, you should realize that a ban will not save them. It will actually hurt more JW children because the organization's activity will be driven underground, further isolating them and playing to their confirmation bias that it's the "truth."
