Hi All,
The Kingdom of God is in your midst...that means it's in our hearts...doesn't 1Cor. 15:51-52 say:Look! I tell you a sacred secret: We will not all fall asleep in death, but we will all be changed,+ 52 in a moment, in the blink* of an eye, during the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound,+ and the dead will be raised up incorruptible, and we will be changed... it says in a blink of an eye, we will be raised up incorruptible...& be changed...so to me that means our corruptible hearts with be changed at a blink of an eye....WE (OUR HEARTST)WILL BE CHANGED WITH A BLINK OF AN EYE....that's why it says, it's in our midst....we are God's Kingdom...
The invisible heavenly gov't is just for the JW's to fit themselves into the picture....As they do all over the bible...they even say, Jesus was the first witness, ah, how can that be ? He is what witnessing is all about...They see them selves everywhere in the bible...that's why I know they are delusional....
None of us knows if this is all true in the bible...but faith is what we need just to make it through the day....not peoples interpretation of what they think God means.
Many things they don't know what it means...so this is just one of them...there are so much more...

Oh, ok...Your Mom knows about the Child Abuse ? Wow. I think many have too, but like your mom they pointed a finger at other religions & so now they are eating crow....to me this is the real reason most of the friends don't talk about it...because someone they know or don't know will say, Hey you guys thought it was only the Catholics, but I see it's in your org. too.
That has to be hard to have your own words come back to bite the in the behind...I wonder will the Society ever confess & just take their medicine...but look how long it took for the Catholics to be exposed...I bet they fought tooth and nail just like the JW's are doing...Good for your Mom for not donating...
I'm so happy I know ttatt....it's so freeing to go into the hall, & know that....I love this site...as I always say, for those who are still in, it gives a place to go so we don't think we are spiritually weak, & we can vent...'til we get the nerve to not be afraid of man...& leave...

Once I pointed it out....innocently....I showed them the first letter of the Meeting workbook. Then I said Clam...then turn to digging for gems...then I said...like Kingdom Ministry/KM...they just smiled...I told another one...it just didn't register...do they really think that calling the meeting workbook CLAM, that God cares about that? Yep, I do...As soon as a brother/FDS, says it...they'll think it's so clever...
But you know what, they know...the silence of certain issues lets gives me the clue...there is always an elephant in the room...& when they may not agree, they clear their throat...or cough...dead giveaway...The know about the ARC, only because it's not a peep about it. I'm learning to observe the friends posture & reactions...even if they don't say a word...there are many that know it's CLAM, but don't want to blow their cover that they know TTATT.
They claim they are making the literature easy for folks to understand because of the many foreigners that are coming in....Who said foreigners are dumb...many of them are way more educated then the JW's. Many of them speak different languages...
I have heard many who have been in for a long time say, THINGS HAVE REALLY CHANGED.

@ DOC,
It was a part of CLAM Living at Christians the week of 9/12-18...A video: Jehovah has done so much for me. I think it was worldwide, but the video is of a sister who was sexually abused before she came into the org., but the sister and video was in Australia.
Maybe all the congregations didn't show the video....but it was in the Meeting Workbook for everyone. It wasn't in yours ?

You all say don't give them ideas...LOL LOL..as crazyguy says, they get all their best stuff here...Of course they do...where to you think they get the NEW LIGHT from...NON-Witness websites.. They see it but sometimes very stubborn to change it...but then it comes a time, they can't fight their way out the corner that they painted themselves into...so they have to surrender...so they call it new light when in reality...it's right off the internet...
Most of the congregation is so happy with new lights...they say, how humble the society is to correct themselves...but if you say, well today's truth may one day be false...crickets...
Since I'm a newbie, yet I see a lot of things that ones that have been in for years don't...I think it's many things that keep them in, but one reason is...THEY NEED TO BELONG & TOLD WHAT TO DO...

So I think I figured out how they are going to play out this ARC scenario for the Society, just in case many of us have heard about it but the org. hasn't said anything about it yet...
1. They show the video of child abuse in Australia (this part is to let you know they know some of us know about the ARC).
2.Now we know the org. sympathizes with child abuse.
3. Now Luke 21:11 talks about the signs, yet Luke 2:12, says these signs will not happen until the people lay hands on you & persecute you, handling you over to the synagogues & prisons. Blah blah blah..
4. Many of the friends will say or think we haven't been persecuted or handed over as of yet...so...Here's where the Society starts the spin..
5. Org. says, Oh yes, many of you have no knowledge of the current child abuse situation, & we didn't want to alarm the friends into a panic. This has been going on for quite some time again, we wanted to keep it from you friends...we know how much this system is such a burden on the friends...we thought we could handle it without burdening the friends.
6. For a while now the Australian gov't/courts system has been persecuting the JW's. We don't know how this is going to play out but we want to let you know we may be persecuted & be put in prison, but no matter we will keep our integrity & uphold Jehovah's sovereignty....
7. Why are we being persecuted? Satan knows we are living in the end too..So he has motivated some spiritually weak friends to accuse the org. of child abuse, knowing about it & hiding it.
8. We are trying to fight it, but they are just accusations. The Society abhors child abuse now & always have.
9. The society put out a video the week of 9/12 about how empathetic we are about child abuse. We don't tolerate child abuse in the org.
The friends will eat it up... because most of them are brain dead...they will say....you see the Society never hides anything from us.
The final step is...So to fight this good fight we are asking for your prayers & your financial support to fight off Satans' attack..
So guys what do you think...this is all made-up...but I thought it was good...

Midweek meeting video

australian sister was sexually abused as a child and thought of ending her life at 14 years old, sometime later jw's call on her father who accepts a study and eventually the whole family becomes witnesses, life gets much better as the sister immerses herself in pioneering etc, she still has some dark days but prayer along with going for walks and swimming has helped her cope with bad memories of child abuse, the new system (just around the corner) will completely fix everything......... i'm dumbfounded, the hypocrisy has literally rendered me speechless......comments anybody?.

I'm going to run up the middle with a thought here...Being GB's/FDS is all male...aka: Men's club. Would nothing be done just because the abusers are MEN, too. If the any of the abusers were females...how do any of you think this would play out? Most of abusers are men...& it took years for this to really be a crime or even looked at. Is it a case of the fact, it's men doing it & so men won't persecute their own. Like the case what goes on in Vegas, stays in Vegas...
It took years for them to expose the Catholic religion...do you think it will take as long or longer for the JW's or if they will ever be exposed.

I saw the video, Australia, really? So, they went to Australia to show a sister that WAS abused, not while in the org. but before she became a witness...so what's the point...the point is that the org. is trying to show they are empathetic to people who have been abused sexually as a child. OK, that's nice, what about people that are abused IN THE ORG. BY PEOPLE IN THE ORG. Talk about covering their behinds. The very place the org. is under investigation for pedophile they decide to find a sister who was abused. UH? Many people do know about the ARC, but don't want to be shunned. It has leaked out....the more they don't talk about it the more I know they know. We all know news travel fast in JW world...telephone, telegraph, tela'witness...
I think another reason many don't mention it...because they are embarrassed, too busy talking about others & they are guilty of the same thing...a person/org. has to be mighty humble to admit this... Reminds me of a marriage counselor, that can save everyone's marriage but their own... I also think that they had to mention Australia at least once...because so much is leaked about it. So the org. can't just ignore it.
The org. is up to something....stay tuned.
