Hi All,

Not to sound partial, but when I began to study and notice the 144,000 seemed too be white males, I said to myself, well the new system is going to be the same....white males running things...why die...Then here comes this black guy that is an anointed one....does equal opportunity ring a bell (another tax break)...did the org. get audited and found out the anointed was not diversified ? They do that in orgs. My place of work was told we were not diversified enough, so we better start adding some color to the place. But to be fair and honest who else could go around the world and buy land, only white folks, black folks still waiting for their forty acres and a mule...No doubt many readers wrote in and asked why no other color are anointed, so they most likely scrambled and found this guy...

Anyway, that's another topic....wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall of the JW's brain when the sentence is read, we are not inspired nor infallible...wonder what the average JW will really be thinking, I think even the most dug in witness will say in their mind....so If the GB isn't running things then who is? This is what the average thinking person the org. is saying....The org. is just covering their behinds...they are on the internet now...they are going to have to eat some crow....many that may come in now may question many things...and ask their teachers...

But because I'm a witness, this statement or WT, won't mean a hill of beans to the average JW....oh, this statement may shake a few up, but then they will be invited to a gathering and be around the ones they love conditionally and back to business as usual....because, no matter what, It's God's org. even the child molestation issues are exposed, majority won't leave....many of the witnesses that I have spoken to, know of a child molestation issue that wasn't dealt with and also they know it's all over the org, but it's because they carry Jehovah's name....so Jehovah will take care of it...but when they say it, they don't sound so convincing, because don't think the average koolaide drinking witness ain't asking, how long Jehovah, how much longer ?

Many of the JW's are there because they think they are just like the Jews....CHOSEN.....but if they read the scriptures, the Jews are the branch and the rest of us are just grafted in...and if we think that God has forgotten the Jews....read and think again, JW's...

Let's face it many witnesses have a need to be validated and belong and the org. is a perfect place for misfits, if you need a pat on the back being a witness is the right thing to be...even if you read a scripture (even a 4 or 5 year old can do), you get commended....they always say, it's good to be encouraged...the average person out here goes about their day without being commended every minute of the day....but not JW's they complain how they are not appreciated at their job....it's not that, they just want to be patted on the back for just doing their job... Many witnesses suffer from lack of attention...and need a pat on the back all day long...but some are just attention hogs...those are the ones that always have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the meetings....

So, this WT like many others will go over the witnesses heads, but they will think, but won't mention one word to anyone...although, I do have a few in the congregation that will say, so who is running things?

i just watched the live feed from the russian court room and followed the updates on the russian exjw forum.. just waiting for confirmation from other sources...but, it looks like the final (and expected) result is:.

banned.

which means that the wts property in russia now belongs to the russian state..

I know exactly where I'm at...I'm not blind to the org...I would like to fade without it being a big deal. All religions think they are right and the JW's are no different, but what one of their problems is their arrogance of being God's only channel....and they truly believe that, me it doesn't matter whether it's God's channel or not...folks have no idea what God wants...so I take what man says with a grain of salt...I judge people for myself not what others say about them....yes I have a good heart and if I let the JW's at it, they'll suck the good right out of it then try to build me up again....I know the game....thank goodness....

Well, I just said my peace about how the org. can assist the Russian friends but I know better...but Jehovah did say he wanted no more sacrifice but faith....guess that'll be a new light one day...

Wish I knew how to do it....how do you make a suggestion like that....that would make to much sense...if the GB's really cared about them, they would get them out of there....but, then there is persecution...how can they be persecuted if they pull out of Russia....

Now just think of the Headlines.....JW's ban together to bring Russian JW's out of Russia, by JW contribution of just $2 per week per person....that headline could outweigh the one where they may be exposed about child molestation...I think this would be a good move and would make them look real good...

Can't suggest it..I'm just a woman....and we ain't got enough sense to know snakes don't talk.....

Maybe someone will send a letter from readers and suggest we all (approx. 8 million) should give $2 per week to bring our Friends home....undercover...

Hi All,

Been taking a break. Was not keeping up with the latest of the org. and the Russian ban....inside I was hoping that more of what happens in the org. would be exposed more than just banning their literature and calling them extremist. Religion itself is an extreme way of living, being and living....for some it really means putting God first.

I said in another topic that the org. has enough money to relocate these families in Russia if they want to...The friends would give their eye tooth, not their home....to help...Now get this...the org. says it has approx. 8 million friends...we meet twice a week, if we all give $2 per week the org. would collect approx. give or take $16 million a week, just think just $2 per week. That could be announced from the stage, friends...just $2 per week and we can help our Russian friends leave Russia, well the ones that want to leave...there may be some that have been waiting for this ban, just so they can leave the org...and what better way then to say, well, can't go out in FS, we are banned....(Shrug)

Hasn't anyone ever thought that Jehovah may not want the witnesses in Russia, just like he told the disciples to avoid Asia and Samaria, because he had other plans of how the Good News would be spread....especially in Samaria, the Good News was brought by Jesus to a woman and that's how the Good News came to Samaria, by a woman that had been married before and was not living with a man that was not her husband, yet Jesus used her...so if the good news IS to be spread in Russia, maybe it's not by the org....remember they FDS gets the brighter lights from God and maybe God didn't tell them to go to Russia, but they went anyway...Russia is another world power, just like the USA...except we make love not War, but don't sleep on America, we will rise if we have to because of the freedoms we have....the only place I know you can talk about our Gov't and not be tossed in jail or we can get mad and walk if off in a protest....

Those witnesses who want to stay to be hero's we can only put them in prayer, they have the free will to stay or go...it's not like their are millions of them...matter of fact, put them up in Warwick...state of the art Hotel...what GB would bunk with a Russian family ?

first, they instruct people to avoid inactive ones and to shun them and to treat them the same as da'd or df'd ones, .

Great comments....(remember hearing those words after the meeting even though you may have not commented or just read a scripture). You both nailed it....

I believe in Jehovah and Jesus Christ, don't care if they are the same or separate...someone died for our past and future sins...that's the meat and potatoes, if you wish to believe....

Jesus is the way and the org. better get that soon, if they intend for this religion to continue...

Don't worry folks the friends see the colors of the elders....more and more folks are finding out that the elders are just men....or should I say robots...they may not believe what they read but they have to distribute the information anyways, whether they agree or not....I get phone calls from the friends, just to talk and wow do they talk, they tell me things they can't tell others...to me I already know about the org. but I guess some are just waking up...

So, we are told to search out the inactive ones....then tell the elders....ummmmm, I hope they don't ask them no questions to promote them from DA to DF.

skimming though my iphone earlier today i came across a fb post - which i now can't find!.

basically it was a claim that a gb member had stated that associating with a disfellowshipped person was akin to sleeping next to a corpse.. so obviously i'm curious as to whether anyone else has come across this..

The Witnesses are back in the mid-evil days...The still think folks eat blood, they had blood lettings back then because they thought the evilness was in the blood.....

Folks that they DF don't believe in Ba'lam...they just don't believe what the org. is saying about God, or maybe they smoke or whatever human frailties mankind has....Most of the DF'ing that is done, has no grounds....it's for nothing, sex....the very act that brings us here, sex, without it...The Elders wouldn't have anyone to DF, as a matter of fact if it wasn't for sex, the elders wouldn't exist either.....

The witnesses are taking the bible too far....the longer they peer into the more rules and regulations they will see and enforce....they have to re-invent themselves, so there is enough in the bible as a don't, that can keep religions going for decades....

Jesus never DF anyone, many of the rules in the NT, are told by Paul, so he was just giving rules to the places he visited and needed those rules.

DF'ing is just about control, that's all, just like hell is the same control other places of worship use...all to make us good, ain't working....folks are human and like Paul says, he want to do the right thing but he can't....he's conflicted, just like the rest of us...we too want to do good, but sometimes, we are just human...oh yes, and imperfect.

Hi,

I'm in....last week the mid week meeting mentioned to reach out to the inactive ones...because they need encouragement...yet not taking a breath it was said....not the DF'd ones but the inactive ones...I know my congregation, that didn't go down well...so DF'd ones don't need no encouragement. They are sent out to lick their own wounds....

I don't bet, but after a while they will run out of inactive ones to bring back, there will be a big campaign to bring them back then it will fizzle out, then....They'll be after the DF'd ones...because as we see the #'s are not what the org. says they are, they will actually have to raise the dead to kick up their numbers...

Again, I'm in the hall, many act like they don't associate with their DF'd family.....OH, my Friends, but they do....many of them it's their children, some are fanatical, but for the most part associate with DF ones...when no one is looking...

The ones that say they don't and how it hurts but they stay loyal to Jehovah....& it takes all I have not to say, isn't there a scripture that says if you don't take care of your family.....I know you all know the one I'm talking about...the ones that say they are being loyal to Jehovah, are just a bunch of pious aholes....thinking they are making points with God....and in the end it will come to bite them in the butt...because if they don't talk to their df'd kids, we all know, that the congregation won't do it...who will look in on them or take care of them...I've read on this site how many DF'd or DA'd children had to take care of their elderly JW parent...not even if they had a JW child...

So, stay tuned....one day...DF'ing may just be a thing of the past...look the Catholics don't burn folks no more...

Disfellowshipping decision to go before Canadian Supreme Court

the supreme court of canada has agreed to hear an appeal involving a calgary man who was kicked out of his jehovah's witness church.. randy wall, a real estate agent was "disfellowshipped" from the highwood congregation for being drunk on two occasions and allegedly verbally abusing his wife.. as a result, he says his clients refused to do further business with him, so he argued his property and civil rights were affected.. after losing three internal church appeals of his expulsion, wall made an application with the court of queen's bench in calgary which ordered a hearing to first determine if there was jurisdiction for the court to hear the application.. decisions and appeals.

a judge decided the superior court did have jurisdiction to hear the application.. the church then appealed wall's decision to the alberta court of appeal, which upheld the court of queen's bench, affirming the court has jurisdiction to hear the matter.. one of the three appeal court judges dissented — arguing that congregations are private organizations akin to bridge clubs, whose decisions "are not enforceable promises and have limited, if any, impact outside its small circle.".

Hi,

All this I hope will do is show the public more of what goes on inside the org. that the JW's won't tell you about until they love bomb you and you feel this is now your family and so now DF'ing doesn't sound so bad....plus they are in now, too late to turn back, if you do, you'll lose all the connections you made...

So as many have said, it nothing comes of it...at least it may get some more press coverage...maybe more DF'd folks should do what he did...they may not win, but it sure will make a fuss back at the ranch.

28:19-20...it says, go, therefore and make disciples...ok, we are disciples and they also were told to teach the disciples to observe all the things i commanded you to do....that's what those scriptures say....jesus told his disciples to keep doing this in remembrance of me....so since we are now baptized disciples and the command has been passed down because since jesus's death there are more disciples...so we are commanded to observe the teachings of the first disciples so, we can partake..... the scriptures don't point to no anointed but to disciples...& we is disciples now, we took the nestea plunge..... tor .

Russian Ban exposed but not THE ARC...WHY?

just your thoughts....i've been all over this site, everyone says, that if jehovah was backing the org.

then why so many things happen in the org.

child abuse, shunning, and so on....but my question or thought is why is the banning of witnesses all over the media, but the arc isn't wasn't picked up in the media, like this (oh little leaks here and there, but nothing major) nothing like the nyt or any major media venue where the friends would see it and couldn't deny it, even if they wanted to....why does the media care more about banning witnesses than child abuse...i know even if the arc was exposed many of the friends would stay, but would be shamed, because they talked about other religions...or maybe jehovah is bringing the org.
