I doubt much. I believe you are either a gaylord or you aren't. But it probably separated the wheat from the chaff. Maybe if you stayed beyond the obligatory 2 years you'd be invited to a post-memorial extravaganza hosted by a GB member himself. -

About 1/2 of my family is JW. Aunt's, Uncles, Cousins. My parents are former JW, but left in the early 90's. The JW side, I don't see much anymore but at this point it feels like "different lives, different cities" etc, more so than religion.

Wow. So a construction job where you have to stop what you're doing (at midday, just as you're hitting your stride/rhythm). Shower, dress and go to a sit down lunch. Then go back to work? Haven't they heard of lunch boxes? How the hell did anything ever get done?
