Thanks folks. I agree C.O.'s have a hectic schedule. I also agree they are unnecessary - but then I don't agree with "titles" either. Inflates the ego.

I should say separations and divorce happen because there is enough stress paying bills and in the workplace without spiritual targets also controlling couples. No time left to breathe, really, nevermind romance and fun.

while i personally experienced several more acts where jw elders lied to me personally, the following is the most serious because it involved brother a. i mentioned him earlier where he was lied to by the jc and they used a confidential file against him that they developed over ten years a file he was never allowed to see or defend himself against.. sometime between january 1993, the jw elders on the jc were in the final stages of their meeting with brother a. this was before his first appeal.

unfortunately elders will happily lie in order to protect someone in their clique. the whole getalong gang will twist the scriptures and make the complainer of the gross sinner look like the "unpeaceable" one. i am completely floored. feel like i can't trust anyone. none of those liars will see my eyes again. they have really stumbled me from attending my own congregation. Many watchtower studies about elders are more like "Fantasy Island". -

i have been a baptized witness for the last 30+ years, but have not attended meetings in the last 15 years.

i hope you are feeling well and strong after your time in hospital. i am sure your family love you very much, and dont have an issue seeing as you have not attended meetings for many years. i, personally, do not feel comfortable even with the thought of transplants, but many JWs look to them for survival.

Real reasons behind this change?
by Gorb injust a good conversation at home about the hour report change.. we think the change was not impmemented because the gb are such a lovely bunch of old grandpa's having the best in mind for us individuals.. there will be only, and we say only, an organizational reason for it.
a legal reason, to protect jw.org and it's officials and wealth.. next step?
maybe selling more kh and when jw hollywood studio's in rampoo are ready a change to tv subscription.. what do you think?

I really don't like the way the organization is run like a business. Titles, targets, deadlines. Pioneers will think even more of themselves from now on - yuck
