I have learn a LOT about the religion and congregations. When I was active visiting meetings, i was there for the spiritual food. I actually thought everyone else was there for same reason ;-) I have learn there's a great variation among JWs. Lot's go to meetings just to hang around friends. Some are obligated by family or just to keep appearance. Some seem too believe 100% what GB writes. Some 50%, others just 10%. Some want appointments in congregations to control others. Some cause wife always nagging about moving forward. Others got privileges even if they didn't really want them. Some to get married. I do understand more why some JWs got irritated when you spoke about biblical matters. They probably didn't even believe in God. And there's lots more of variations then what I wrote about here. It's been a learning experience this site. One thing for sure, i don't know if I would have become a jw if internet was around when I started studying. I like to do research.

I think the Jw Religion is getting better. Not by choice.

he invited a lot of his jw friends.
there was teenage kids, couples, singles.

There's no Uber elders no more. Mean elders that follow GB every decision. Was proven some years ago when GB send letters to congregations that only brothers that were loving ( agape) should have appointments in congregations. Does that didn't want too were supposed to be removed as elders. CO was supposed too go out in field service with person before appointments. See if they wanted to have appointment for the right reason. GB send two letters about subject. Nothing happened. Neither elders or co were interested in obeying. GB lost control over congregations long time ago. Everyone does what they feel like. Not even gb members can agree on things. Sure looks a lot like old Rome before the fall. The infighting.

Selling 6000 kh+turning meetings to video conference+building media center= going online. Yes sound very logical. Question is when they started the plans for a on-line religion. Probably in the 90s when they started to shut down bethels in Europe. Removing printing presses. Using free labor to build halls then telling congregations to sign over there kingdom hall's to watchtower. JWs been duped. -

My new year's prediction for watchtower would be a Big Big sell out of kingdom hall's. Been two years almost with zoom meetings. Expert have predicted convid lockdown gonna go on for years. So think they gonna start selling buildings more then ever before. Maeby they speed up new media project and it becomes ready by end of 2022. Some kind of quick building. They gonna continue losing child abuse cases. Is there any good news for watchtower? Maeby GB wakes up and discover they should not give talks, cause just makes things worse. Fat chance that gonna happen.

Yeah JWs think it's gonna be a online religion. So they have started to drop all the self-righteous attitude. Mean who cares abouth that with zoom meetings. Plus you know most of the ones with cameras off are doing other things. This organisation has actually become a better place for its members. If they remove congregations and just report hours online gonna give members even more relife. Probable first time GB members take a decision thats making JWs life better.

New light and confessing to congregations.
by asp59 in2017 - wt: the gb is neither inspired or infallible and can err in doctrine and organisational matters... clearly gb have received biblical information about things that been done wrong.
not from god directly, but letters received at headquarters.
if important new light about biblical matters have come to the gb attention, why are they not telling the congregations about that information?

If important new light about biblical matters have come to the GB attention, why are they not telling the congregations about that information? Is it because it has too do with very important, matters regarding biblical arrangements, that GB done wrong? Is it not important that congregations know Jehovas requirements and how he views things? Are they not putting congregations in risk not confessing and repenting for what they done? I mean won't Gods anger come over everyone, cause leaders won't admit what has happened? Getting tired of there flip flopping with unimportant biblical verses the whole time, when there's clearly reason to believe this people have received important information they are trying to hide from rest of JWs.

JWs dont read there bible or Watchtower that much this days. There not much interest in " the new light" They mostly copy and past when writing letters ( preaching) . They know most people wont read information on the letters anyways. People or not that much for reading biblical information. They prefer watching a vídeo.

jackson presented some arguments, one of which was….jesus did not stop the widow from putting money in the contribution box in the temple.
basically saying regardless of your financial situation you have to donate.
