  I think Ex JW Reddit has learnt a huge lesson from this.

  I wish they silenced lloyd as quickly as they did me. I have said some outrageous stuff (by my standards) on this forum and have never been told to shut up, stop swearing (which I never did on Reddit) or anything else. I stopped going on Reddit about a year ago as I couldn’t comment there in a polite way after the whole scandal without being dragged by the mods. In the end I gave up.

  I like it here, so many interesting threads to read, debate, intelligent people.

  Reddit may be a nice place, but this is home for me.

  I called out Cedars for posting BS 10 years ago.

  I mention you in the cedars thread - you were so kind, factual and to the point in trying to make lloyd aware that he was very wrong, but he didn’t listen and continued down his abusive rabbit hole behaviour. You called it 100% correctly.

  If it’s not to much trouble I would love to know your thoughts to my question:

  Lloyd had no qualifications, no experience, hadn’t been out of the borg long at that point, clearly made provable errors yet people continued to believe him and thanking him for the “valuable information” - even over the qualified/fact driven proof.

  It is easy for someone who has no idea about the subject he is lecturing Talking about, sure I understand that, but why did they listen to his “brand of facts” over that of others?

  It’s safe to say there will never be another Lloyd Evans because people know exactly what happens when you enable someone the way he is

  I sincerely hope not, the more I learn the more I realise how stunted and damaged the community has been by him 🤦‍♀️

  I can't remember if I posted anything on that thread, and I'm too tired at the moment to read through the whole thing. However, in general, I've been trying to offer up some clarity on the meaning of all these big awards against the watchtower.

  I was looking for your name in that thread but I didn’t see it. There were a few names that popped up - particularly a 14000 (not exact number) username who also seemed quite knowledgeable.

  It astounds me. I am not an accountant and horrible at maths and would defer to an accountant on accountancy matters - even taxation law.

  This 14000 appeared to have quite sound legal knowledge and has some sort of legal background, I would guess a lawyer based on the level of knowledge.

  Lloyd placated him initially and then started attacking him when he continued to raise legal facts about Lloyd’s article. Wow!

  I find it particularly interesting that he couched his comments in “we are having a conversation” and “I’m open to criticism” ….. and then when the questions and comments got to hard to answer and he realised that he had erred, he attacked.

  The more I learn about lloyd the less I understand how he got to where he did and why people continued to accept his “facts” as gospel 🤷‍♀️

  That has absolutely nothing to do with mental illness and it infuriates me when people confuse emotional discomfort with actualmental illness. Narcissism isn't a mental illness, Lloyd ....it's a personality disorder.

  Lloyd thought Conti would literally walk into Patterson and take up ownership because WT couldn’t afford $17.3 million

  I haven’t felt second hand embarrassment on behalf of lloyd for a while, but today I did. What I don’t understand is why people continue to believe/listen to his “facts”….. how did he get to the heights that he got to?

  AND why did/does the exjw community make the claim “he brings excellent information”….. how do they know it’s excellent….did they read his information, do their own research and come to their own opinion or just take every word as fact…..?

  if so, I have some certified unicorn poop for sale…free postage included 🤦‍♀️

  So I read the entire thread on Patterson …. Wild…..time has revealed who was right and who was wrong….and that lloyd had no idea what he was talking about 👍
