  I left over 25 years ago, I doubt they even remember who I was. Although I do know that most of the elders and Servants I served with have all been disfellowshipped for various Watchtower infractions.

  Guns...Are You For or Against Legally Owning Them?

  there is a surge going on of people buying guns, especially first time buyers.

  with talk of police defunding and rioting in the neighborhoods, some people want to protect themselves.. do you support owning and using a gun if needed?.

  like the ancient nation of israel which struggled maintaining divine blessing due to a long series of grave errors that eventually culminated in definitive loss... how and when did watch tower lose the spirit?.

  i've been ebaying lots of my jw stuff, have no use for them.

  it's crazy all the crap i collected over the years.

  I remember when my mother-in-law died, we cleaned out her house and I dumped everything. She was in the French congregation.

  Did The Elders Bother You or Did You Get Along With Them OK?

  i’ve heard a number of horror stories regarding elders.

  i have a lot of stories about elders, some funny, some not so.. were all your experiences with elders bad?.

  I was in 4 different congregations. First 2 in NYC, I got along with great. They were mostly Bethelites. The last 2 were in Jersey. The 3rd one the Presiding Overseer hated me with a passion . He ruled by fear, the other elders and Servants were afraid of him. I wasn't, I spoke my mind while the others were all "yes men". In the end he still hated me but he respected me, because he knew I would tell him to his face how I felt.

  Rumors were circulating that I was an apostate. Someone was writing letters to everyone, and mailing out literature, Franz' book. I was like, "you think I'm gonna waste my money mailing out books to people who will just toss it away?"

  One time we were having an elders meeting, and he just lost it, he charged at me, tried to get his hands around my throat, took 3 other elders to restrain him, I just sat there with a smirk on my face. In the end, I handed in my resignation from the body, kicked the bookstudy out of my house, and a month or so later I left the congregation, for another one, that lasted 6 months before I just disappeared, never went back. Before I stepped down, I went into the file cabinet and took my files. That was 30+ years ago.

  I began to sell off everything a few years ago. You name it, I had it. I still have every watctower from 1884 through 1994. Started selling those off recently.

  I was locked out of my old account, but I was one of the "founding" members. Lots of fun over 20 years ago.
