When a political leader says things that aren't backed by evidence, are they being intellectually dishonest or intellectually corrupt ?

How will the rest of the World be affected if America is run by far-left Socialist?
by pistolpete inamerica was a power not to be reckoned with.
but lately it seems to be the laughing stock of the world.
what other countries are seeing on the news is riots, calls to de-fund the police, breakdown of society, and elections being over taken with fraud.

Fact is a country cant have extenuating social programs if the country doesn't have a strong and running capitalistic business structure and personal employment to support those programs.
The big brouhaha thats going on right now in US politics is the business backed politcal party the Republicans going against the US government implementing a government sponsored universal healthcare social program for all of its citizens.
Most countries now days have some kind of government backed healthcare system for its citizens, even many Communistic and Dictatorship driven countries .

The headline used for this clip on Youtube is ....
Joe Biden brags about having “the most extensive and inclusive VOTER FRAUD organization” in history.
Now do you really think a top level politician would say something like to what your suggesting, right directly to the media ?
Again he was referring to the Trump campaign's "Supposed" involvement by the Russians, which to all accounts has proven to be trumped up bullshit. (no pun intended)

Pistolpete what Biden was talking about in that video clip was the 2016 election and the Republican backed Trump campaign, he was not referring to the Democrat backed campaign supporters. ie the supposed Russian involvement.
When he said we he's meaning Nation.
Trump never upholds fact based information if it opposes himself and his precedential involvement.
ie. rigged and the evidence of that is ???

Are Jehovah's Witnesses running a race with no end in sight?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inhorse racing lengths vary from just a couple of furlongs to several hundred miles, if you count the mongolian derby.
in britain, horse racing rules state that races should be over a minimum of five furlongs, while the longest race is over 4m2½f.. .
nascar races generally last anywhere from 1.5 to 4 hours, depending on the length of the race, number of laps and track conditions.

Most JWS are not so much focused upon reaching the end of their race which is Armageddon but firmly believe their participation in their particular race is worth being in it for the better toward themselves.
Their rewarding prize for their steadfast participation is not being killed and to live on into eternity, fortuitous to them in spite stepping away from reality in a appealing self imposed delusion.

I think the older generation had more of a appreciation to books and reading and valued them accordingly.
Grandparents today are more apt to give their grandchildren a video game or something related to computers than a book.
I also think that the older generation(s) took more interest in religious things in general.

Collapse of JW Org - Possibly on the Horizon?
by JWTom inthis topics get a great deal of discussion here.
what i find interesting is even some of my pimi family is embracing the reality that all is not well with jw.org and that many current jws are just going through the motions due to not having a good way out of the org.
wondering what could realistically lead to the collapse of jw.org in the not distant future?

What could happen and this has happened with other certain religious organizations is that once its realized the membership has slid down to a certain point, the top controlling leaders will try to reform the religion to help keep it active.

As long as the WTS/JWorg can lure in people, exploit their ignorance and their other problems and people think they are doing good for themselves, the JWs will be around.
