As for the hedgie, I am sorry to say but Quilly passed away this past weekend. Same symptoms as the other one. I have absolutely no idea what happened. He was well taken care of and got plenty of attention from the kids. J took it hard.

For all those wondering, I am doing fine. Busy as ever and enjoying every minute of it. Life couldn't be any better! Eyegirl says I should make a post so that everyone knows that I am doing fine and haven't been gobbled up by any bears here out in the woods! hehe

Today wasn't as bad as the past two days.....but damn, how many of these bugs are out there!
I am glad that some of you have noticed that they bite too! I mentioned it to my husband and he says it was in my head! They are nasty!
From what I understand they can get thru the tiniest of cracks. Last night I took off the light fixtures to vacuum what was in the globes and they were literally coming out in droves from the ceiling!
Very few things in life give me the heebie jeebies, but this many bugs at one time is one of them! ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.........

We have them too! We live in Northern MN and two days ago we had an unseasonably warm day. Within hours the window sills and walls were crawling w/these damn bugs! Outside it looked like lots of dust in the air but was actually these ladybugs flying around. The sides of the house were covered as well as the screens and doors! I leave my vacuum out all day long and for the past two days I have vacuumed them out of the house every 10-15 minutes! ewwwwwwwww..........

LOL xjw.......yeah, for a girl I have a real soft spot for bikes! Guess it is in my blood! If I didn't have all these "family responsibilities" I would be riding all over the country! Oh well, I get as much riding in as I can and for however long the riding season allows up here.

Since this pic was taken I have taken off the back seat and had some long shots put on (damn....I love my pipes). I would really like to remove the bags and shield (would look like a Fat boy then) but here in MN that really isn't feasible for me. Always need a change of clothes depending on the unpredictable weather.
I love to ride!. I am currently in the process with the help of my brother learning maintenance on my bike. Since I ride it all by myself I should learn to take care of it by myself too, eh?

Lo and behold tonight a little birdie (actually two) gave me this link. What a nice suprise to find out that someone misses me! hehe......thanx mulan and celia. I am doing fine. Onacruse was right, my attentions have been taken elsewhere right now on another db. I have also been really busy w/my family and running my daycare. Summer has been filled w/gardening and now that Fall is around the corner starts my canning season. One weekend I spent 26 hours in the kitchen while tackling 200 ears of corn! If I never see another corn cob in my life it will be fine with me! This week I was up at 5am making applesauce.......spent the whole morning peeling, cutting and cooking. Tomatoes are ripening now and every day I have a big old basket needing to be made into something. And again this year I am gonna taken more cucs for pickles! Guess I have just been busy living life....taking care of others and myself and enjoying every minute of it! Still living out in the woods and keeping to myself as much as I can.
I will try to check in every now and again to say hi! hehe
