  How do you feel about your JW friends?

  how do you feel about your friends you left behind and in the organisation and who now shun you?

  do you feel they are still your friends, and are just doing what they think is right?

  would you ,if shunning was dropped and they now wanted to have contact again accept them back as friends?edited by - sleepy on 18 august 2002 10:14:43.

  It has been a LONG time since I was df'd........but I still think of the handful of close friends that I had. I got in touch with two of them this past year, and yes, we resumed somewhat of a friendship. My situation was that I moved away. So I didn't actively witness them shunning me, I just sorta fell out of the picture. I think it would he hard for me to resume a friendship with someone who shunned me to my face.

  I have to admit, the two that I got in contact with are both ex-dubs now.......and you can guess what we talked a lot about!

  west nile at my house

  jsut a note to any horse owners:.

  yesterday my neighbor's horse came down with west nile, he had just given the vaccine a week ago, at the same time as i vaccinated my horses, the local vets were saying that it wouldnt be a problem here untill next year and now there are 75 horses that have come down with it,.

  so if you have horses and havent vaccinated them for west nile please do it, it is so sad to see the effects take over a strong, healthy, young, horse.. what has me worried is that with my l\uck im going to be the first person localy to get it.

  Silentlambs new logo?

  This is just my opinion, but I don't like the logo. First, I have to agree w/the color. Teal is kinda "whimpy". Secondly, it looks too weak. It looks like a child's fairy tale cartoon.

  DO U BELIEVE IN LIFE AFTER DEATH?

  even though we were all raised with the firm doctrine that absolutely nothing happens to you after death, (except for those baptized before 1935 of course), does anyone here think that maybe something does happen after we die?

  i've seen some programs about people that have reported having near death experiences.

  while this doesn't offer proof, i find it very strange that one individual, during her nde, repeated a conversation she heard on an entirely different floor in the hospital while she was clinically dead.

  I couldn't agree with you more. My thoughts EXACTLY. Many misfortunes have happened in my life, but they have made me who I am today. Had I not gone through what I have, I may not have been the strong person you see. I truely know and understand what gratitude is.......

  Anyone ever rub elbows with a Celebrity?

  when i was in the sixth grade in roswell n.m. i met this girl whos father had recently died.my father had also passed away recently.we were both very shy and haveing the lose of our fathers in common we stuck together that year.we never did anything outside of school however, not sure why,she never invited me over and now i think it was because of her horrible home life.but we ate lunch together everyday and chated in a class we shared.i never saw her again until..... when i was in my 20's my cousins wife told me that my friend demetria guynes was....... drum roll..plz.

  Can't say that I have "rubbed elbows" w/anyone famous other than our District Overbeer........**sigh**

  Jessical Lange and Sam Shepherd have a house very close to ours. Guess it is their "get away".......see, the woods aint that bad!
