I am truly amazed that any still attend after all the financial misbehavior of the org over the past 30 years, the CSA cover-up, the wild reversal of doctrinal teachings, the sell-off of KH's, the revealed facts about prominent leaders going all the way back to Russell, and the ongoing expansion of shunning. Just wow!

In the past few years, children who had "sleep overs" with Michael have recanted their earlier testimony and now say that he "molested" them. When local elders met with Michael regarding his unusual lifestyle, they certainly would have addressed the smoke billowing off him as a potential pedophile. The WTC database of molesters includes Michael as these elders would have contacted the Legal dept. for direction due to his notoriety and contribution status. Add this to the list of reasons why WTC will not release the database unredacted to the police.

This should serve as a lesson to current B'lites who mistakenly think that they will have WTC's approval and love even after they are pushing up daisies in the local cemetary, WTC has NO LOYALTY TO ANYONE - YOU INCLUDED!
WTC has tossed CT Russell and Rutherforn under the bus as they try to distance themselves from the absurdities these men fostered. Knorr is next and eventually Franz due to their very questionable personal lives and beliefs.
Are you over 62 and still at Bethel? Maybe in the retirement home in Fishkill? They will throw you away like a soiled knapkin as soon as they are able. Don't believe me? Here on the outside we know some who never thought they would be kicked to the curb. Oh, you have not kept up with them? Get ready for a dose of Watchtower reality because it will come. Not IF - Just when.

2 Peter and Jude and 1 Enoch

a poster by the name of leolaia said.... the author of 2 peter did not recognize that jude 6 was an allustion to 1 enoch (just as he did not realize that jude 9 was an allusion to the assumption of moses and thus rephrased it incoherently in 2 peter 2:11), or he may have objected to the enochic reference (just as jude 14-15 was omitted in 2 peter 2).
in either case, the author overlooked the enochic allusion and instead recognized the passage as an allusion of hesiod and thus embellished the passage from jude with an allusion to hesiod's tartarus.. .

Truth_b_known - very insightful. I will read the books again to see if I can pick up on the plagarism. The compilation of the Bible books continues to interest me even after many decades of study. I do not think that WTC has ever provided accurate statements of their own originality - just regurgitated what was popular. As a result, much of what I believed followed their unscholarly narrative. Maybe it will make no difference as I take my last breath, but I still want to know.

Simple Question Re 1914
by Slidin Fast inwt claims that satan was thrown out of heaven in october 1914 precipitating ww!
and the end times.
a small problem with that is ww1 started on july 28th 1914 whilst satan was still in heaven picking his nose.. how did we not see this and waste years of precious life?

DJW - very interesting research - thanks! As for WTC readjusting their 1914 doctrine, I suspect that would upset the whole apple cart. Numerology is great fun but WTC actually takes it serious. It might be compared to living your life using a pack of Tarot cards in your back pocket..
