Young "Elders"

ever since the annual meeting last october and the letter to bodies of elders stating that "exceptional young men perhaps in their early 20's could qualify for appointment as elders.." it even states this in the updated elders manual!

have any of you pimo's, pimq's, or those on here with family/friends still in hear of any young men being appointed as elders yet?

i am talking 21, 22, 23, 24 etc.

Personally I say appoint them as soon as they are weaned. Their dealings with the R&F couldn't be any worse than the current set of older appointed men.

Maybe even appoint them before they are born and use ....... Oh good grief where am I going with this?!

Let's just cut to the chase. WTC is desperate beyond anything most of us ever dreamed they would be. They need help and it includes attorneys as well as prescription medication. However, they are aware of their current trajectory and are clawing at the sides of the pit they have fallen into.

Ex. When the PA investigation called on PA elders to get ready to testify, WTC was a step ahead of them. They enlisted elders in each of the 50 states to petition the AG of their respective states to clearly state the law for reporting CSA. Hats off to you WTC! You ran the ball straight up the middle so that each state might delay their investigation of the cases they had in hand from the leaked database. You fellas are purty smart.

But you also revealed to those elders (some of whom have large mouths) that there are cases that will be prosecuted. Some of my dear brethren from the ranks of elders have purchased umbrella policies due to their fear of having the excrement sued out of them. And, some are already contemplating how to cut a deal since they now know what is coming?! Didn't think that would happen did you?

WTC, you should know by now that every action has a reaction. Good thing that you are paying the fine for Phil and that he has no where else to go, otherwise he might be talking to a DA in search of a deal.

So, appoint the kids young as you want them to be. Just be aware that younger men have less to lose by cutting deals and they can be unpredictable.

There was a time when my BP would rise over this argument, as I long believed in 586/587. And trust me, that was tough in my position. When we reached 70 years from 1914, I thought WTC might conveniently change it to 587 to get an extra 20 years out of the scheme. But they were more clever than I. They added the ingenious apparatus of an overlapping generation and now anything is possible.

Seriously though, now that we are 109 years (that's 763 dog years) from 1914, I have decided to send Sanchy a new car for turning the whole arument on it's ear. YOU ROCK SANCHY!!

Let me say also that WTC does not impress me with how they can train others to support a false narrative. BUT... if they can train a chihuahua to answer the phone in a call center, I will send them a new car too!

Joined an online meeting incognito

got a link for a zoom meeting and thought id share my experience about the mid-week meeting.. guessing about 100 - 120 in cong.. 50 on zoom, only 8 with cameras on - all elderly.

watching from a detached point of view it's so obvious at how it is nothing but a glorified sales meeting, all designed to promote the org.

inspirational videos about how everyone can/ should do more to help with projects, in particular how to look after the kingdom hall, complete with bar charts showing levels of achievement to aspire to.. interestingly, tonights book study is about alcohol..

WTC lives in such a bubble that they are unable to admit the problem exists, and certainly incapable of addressing it with effective solutions.

I believe that they are trying to run out the clock, but they don't quite know what the end of the game will bring. Will it be the Great Tribulation? Or will it be prison time? Whatever the case, the men at the top of their pile have an escape plan that includes passports, tickets, offshore accounts and a skeleton staff of yes-men surrounding them.

Of course it is religious persecution - OF COURSE! Otherwise it might be that states like PA are on to JWs and their tolerance of CSA.

So it must be religious pesecution. Otherwise it could be that over 1000 JW abusers in Australia woke the world up and now their heinous practice is being scrutinized in the US starting in PA.

It simply must be persecution! Otherwise, the database(s) of unreported molesters reportedly leaked to the PA AG in 2019 (the database that WTC has guarded from the public) is the start of the unraveling that will surely spread to all 50 states.

Predict JW life in future

a sister said the other day at the ministry group “”what is all this talk that the end is still some way off” she said she has been waiting for decades and she was told there is no way it would take this long.

some others said in an annoyed kind of way yes they would have made different decisions decades ago if they knew the end still would not have come by 2023.. how will the majority react in a few more decades time when the end still hasn’t come?.

why all that talk of sense of urgency decades ago?.

I suspect that more than just JW's are unprepared for retirement. Maybe it is denial about what actually lies ahead that keeps people from properly planning for the future. Perhaps it is just procrastination. But what I am certain of is this: JW's are the MOST REPREHENSIBLE because they tell people that it is a lack of faith to prepare for retirement. That's what I was told and I know many others who were also told that.

according to “all scriptures inspired” book, there is a gap between the creation of adam and the creation of eve and her marriage to adam.

it was at that point in time when eve was created that marked the end of the 6th creative day and the beginning of god’s rest, the 7th day as recorded in genesis.
