Dubby,
You crack me up. Sand up my butt crack. ROTF
does everyone remember the wt stating that in the new system, after everyone has been resurrected, there will be at least one acre per person?.
didn't that seem like a lot of space to you?
i know it did to me, growing up in a typical suburban neighborhood.

it has been an experience to say the least.
i accepted eagerly the teachings of the watchower bible and tract society over the last 7 years.
i have been a dedicated pioneer for four of those years.
Thanks!
You are all very fine people. My wife cannot believe that there are open minded and careing JWs like yourselves.
I will tell you more later about what has happened since I disassociated myself. My wife is being shunned also and she was not even a baptized Jehovah's Witness.

Put no trust in a (FRIEND)
Big question did elaborate.
Hello waiting.
it has been an experience to say the least.
i accepted eagerly the teachings of the watchower bible and tract society over the last 7 years.
i have been a dedicated pioneer for four of those years.
It has been an experience to say the least. I accepted eagerly the teachings of the Watchower Bible and Tract Society over the last 7 years. I have been a dedicated Pioneer for four of those years. I thought what I was teaching to others was the "TRUTH" and would always stand as the "Truth". The Bible say's that God does not lie, nor does he change. The WT declaring themselves as God's channel of communication to me at one time was the "TRUTH". I can accept this no longer. In my ignorance I accepted many lies as teachings from God.
The Watchtower has changed doctrines and teachings over and over without regard to its adhearants of those teachings. When questioned, the WT disposes of such ones as evil. I do not think it evil to use the mind God gave us and question what could be or is blattently wrong. In my ignorance I excused the WT and made things up as I went along as to not make waves with what I thought was Jehovah's appointed channel.
I feel like I have not only cheated those I have witnessed to, but also I feel I have cheated God in teaching things he had no part of, but were only the mindless controlling babblings of men that think more of themselves than the welfare of others.
To make this brief, I wish to thank most of all Friend. By (most)of your statements not only on this board, but what I have read on other sites, I realize that Satan is alive and out to mislead many into thinking that a lie is the "TRUTH". I used to defend the organization in like manner. Thank God I can now see through the deception that a religion of any kind does not have a monopoly on "TRUTH", or what is required of God to be acceptable by him.
I feel there are many sincere intelligent people on this forum and thank all of you for your posts and replies. I disassociated myself by written letter yesterday because I can no longer in good conscience continue to believe or teach what the Watchtower tells me is "TRUTH". Fortunately my wife and children are behind me in this decision.
I pray that none of you see me in a bad light. Please excuse the term (LIGHT). I am sick of this term also.
page 12 of the january 1, 1989 wt magazine paragraph 8 ends with the statement that the apostle paul's missionary activity laid a foundation for a work that would be completed in our 20th century.".
i take this as subtle prophecy that 'the end' will come by the year 2000 a.d., or should have come by now.. i find it interesting that the bound volume reprint has the wording changed to read, " a work that would be completed in our day.".
does anyone know why the change?

ok frenchy, you asked for it you got it!.
my pet issue is the conscience thing.
just whos' conscience are they talking about when they us this phrase "it's a conscience issue"?.
Andyman,
The Society tells me to stay away or avoid those who would be considered opposers or apostates.
Many of these so called opposers or apostates in my opinion are only opposing the wrong teachings and control the WT has over the lives of it's followers. A few years ago I would have agreed wholeheartedly with the Society, and my conscience would have bothered me to be around such ones. Today because of being more informed and less ignorant to the facts about what the Society is doing as far as covering things up and talking out both sides of its Watchtower and AFAKE magazines, my conscience no longer bothers me to say hello or even have contact with individuals that have been labled apostate for acts that had nothing to do with violating Scripture or what is right in God eyes, but only chose to disagree with the Society.
As far as voting, I personally do not know any Jehovah's Witnesses that vote or will vote in the near future. I believe that most still consider it being part of the world. I myself am seriously considering getting more involved in outside interests other than the norm inside the cogregation. I am thinking of going back to school at night and taking a computer class as well as learning another language. My conscience is clear even though I,know some in my congregation will think I am persuing worldly interest. I am even considering voting, not because I am that interested in doing so, but just because I think it would be interesting to see if the Society really means what they say as far as this being a conscience issue. If I am reprimanded for doing so , than I will know for sure the Society has lied about this as well as other things.
Friend,
I find it interesting that when you present your case, you ignore what was previously posted at the very beggening of this topic as far as what the Society teaches about salvation. Yes, you are right about the Society saying that Jehovah and his Son are the final judge, but do they really mean that? They also tell its adhearants outside the WT organization there is no where else to go for true joy and salvation?
The WT is basically saying that God and his Son are the final judge, but if you are not one of us, you will not be saved by God or his Son in the judgement.
I am sure you see these two things meaning the same by what you have posted so far.
I see a major contradiction in what the WT is saying. More double talk.
The above is in answer to your questions.
lately i have spent some time responding to various subjects on this forum.
at this time it seems a bit necessary that i address something about myself in the hopes that it will clear up some misunderstandings.
first of all, i am not a defender of the watch tower bible & tract society.
Thank you for your response Friend. I see that you believe there are (others) besides JWs spreading the good news of the Kingdom. I will assume that because you believe this, it is not necessary to be of the Jehovah's Witness faith to be approved by God or to be teaching what Jehovah accepts as truth.
I wonder if the (others) that are spreading this good news of the Kingdom believe the Jehovah's Witnesses good news is the same good news of the Kingdom as theirs?
If anyone can read between the lines of Friends reply to Frenchy, Friend did it again.
Reword and and change a few words that Frenchy originally posted so as to make the meaning of what Frenchy said, mean something different.
I am at the conclusion that Friend is either pathologically sick, or paid by the WTBTS to confuse the issues at hand so as to continue with the fleecing of the ignorant.
waiting,
God is not going to kill you for not being a Jehovah's Witness. This is a teaching pushed by the WT as well as other religions that do not want you to leave their fold. The main thing is your personal relationship with God, not the WT.
