  Did You Experience People Always Seeming To Get Offended?

  there always seems to be someone offended by something.

  in today’s world if you don’t see eye to eye with someone they claim to be offended.

  if you don’t support a cause that someone deems important, they get offended.

  I am getting more of a laugh out of the perpetually offended that you are offended crowd. Honestly if it wasn’t for the right wing media I wouldn’t even know about half of these issues.

  If an ethic group doesn’t want their name used as the team name, I don’t blame them. The Asian illustrations in Dr. Seus books are offensive ( I taught my kids to read with those books). If a black man wants to take a knee during the national anthem I am OK with it. Learn some US history. Even Guns and Roses re-issued the album lies without the song “One in a million “ without anyone even asking them to do it. It was just rude.

  The gender stuff and kids and the APHABET club going after kids pisses me off though. I am still pretty traditional with that kind of stuff.

  My conspiracy theory is there are a number posters here who are actually uber in the borg JWs that are just here to say incredibly stupid things to try and scare people who are thinking about leaving the borg.

  FYI- My wife is an ICU nurse at the Calgary Foothills Hospital. Its very real and scary as hell.

  Logical Fallacy… can I get some help here?

  dr. leanna wen is currently spreading the fallacy that unvaccinated persons should have vaccines mandated because they are like drunk drivers… they have the right to be drunk at home she says, but wanting to be part of society at large without being vaccinated is like driving drunk and putting others at risk.

  besides ignoring the science proving that persons who have had sars cov-2 have natural immunity that equals or exceeds anything that could be imparted from the mrna shot, without the side effects or need for boosters, ( sorry big pharma, you’ll be losing $$$ ) this illustration just smacks of illogical reasoning.

  it reminds me of the borg comparing getting baptized to getting your driver’s license.

  You don't really need master's degree in statistics to interrupt what the data is saying.

  This place literally reminds me of the " reasoning from the scriptures " books published from the borg. The incredible lengths people go to , to try and disprove the obvious.

  Biden personally invited them because everyone was lining up to pick fruit, work in meat packing plants and clean hotel rooms.

  The bottom line is fox news is trying to blame Covid deaths on illegal immigration instead of low vaccinations rates and the constant tirade of misinformation the right wing media is spewing.

  How these guys even sleep at night is beyond me. These guys are bigger sociopaths and narcissists than the governing body. I think then when Fox news starts running stories about the fox news, there is a problem.

  i am been a big fan of dr. laura for years.

  not saying that i always agree with her and i do realize there is an entertainment value to her show.

  generally i do have conservative values and i do credit her for me not pulling the plug on my marriage , or at least till the kids are gone.

The kids come first as I put up with the Watchtower bullshit.

  The other days she has a caller and its a 10 year old girl. You can tell she is being coached by her mother in the background. The girl goes on to tell Dr. Laura that when I visit my father, he doesn't allow me to practice my religion. You can tell at this point the parents are divorced. Dr. Laura goes on a tirade telling her that this is America and you need to see an attorney and its time to cut your father out of your life.

  I was ready to lose my shit. You have no clue you dumb dingbat. Just disappointed I guess.

  Has anyone ever heard her say things like this ?
