That's why the magog talk was talking about congregations being condensed and people moving, the borg needs to sell more KH to recoup that money.

Here is a summary of the video.
Bs about babylon and governments going to attack JW's last.
Drama video -
A hall was sold off to give the GB more money for their retirement. One person is correctly saying that's BS and will choose what they want. Asks a grandmother who is being seperated from her family what she will do? An elder in the back gives a glare like 'bitch best not be challenging my authority I made that list!', then smiles when she proclaims she will do exactly as she was told. Elder gets a boner for that obedience in somebody leaving their family because he was a dick on the list.
Even though previously in the 1970's people were encouraged to sell their homes, not have kids, and all the problems their lives had from following those directions, none of that is brought up, but in the future if equally nonsensical crap is told, they must obey without question!
Talk resumes = Blind obedience to the GB and elders means showing courage.
(((HERE IS A VERY INTERESTING PART!!!!!!!
Long ago I really studied the scriptures to figure out what they really teach, not the GB version. I found that armageddon story, the great trib, all of that was based on cherry picking scriptures and not at all taught in the bible with things in context. Because many of the events they say will happen NOW, I saw were really matching the end of the 1,000 year reign. If you look up Ezekiel 39 and all of that, those things all matched with Revelation at the end of the 1,000 year reign. And the entire event is talking about literal Israel. And it talks about how literal israel had been in blindness up to that point.
So there is now this 'new light' because somebody noticed this in the higher ups but and with that change but ignoring everything else to still try to make the prophecy adhere to them themselves. Watch it continue to go back and forth as they notice other scriptures keep on contradicting their new light. ))))

And throughout the bible it says judgement starts with house of God, 1 pet 4:17-19, etc. They don't even understand the bible they use.

How many wrongs make a right?
by eyeuse2badub incame across this little gem while my wife was "digging for bible gems" in her weekly meeting preparation.
nothing new but i gently pointed it out to her as a reminder that bible reading can be hazardous to your mental health!.
do 2 (or 3, or 4) wrongs, make a right?

Somebody wasn't getting any action so they told David that God says that they must F$%$ all 1,000 of his wives. It was the only way to get to do that and not get caught/killed in the act.

If cherry picking phrases and doing tons of mental gymnastics to support anything they can think of counts as that.
For example the current shun all who leave policy for the rest of their lives.
They take a scripture talking about not calling a brother a person who was bragging about Jesus sacrifice being so great that he is F#$$ his stepmother and still one of them. But then he stops and is sorry and they should take him back. Then taking a scripture talking about if somebody knocks on their door to preach to them about Jesus not having returned or having been true to not let them in for discussion. With many 'evidentlies', all of that equates to "If your mother, father, son, anybody disagrees with our interpretation of the bible and does not believe that God speaks directly to us alone and his commandments can only be understood through us alone, then you must shun them for the rest of their lives, not even looking for an excuse to email them, or God will kill you forever at Armageddon"

Other churches/sects/ of Islam, Christianity and other religions (and Russia itself) have also been playing with fire for quite longer than Borg - let's see if they got burned, as well.
stillMS - you seem to be defending WT a lot.
Here are some differences between JW and Islam/Christianity. JW worldwide all report and answer directly to the GB. They take the words of the GB, watchtower, etc, as above the bible since they are told they can't understand the bible and must take the words from the GB as from God himself. Islam isn't controlled by a single entity but many. Christianity has many leaders and few if any as authoritian as JWs. Are Mormons in Russia? They are very close, that would be interesting to see how they are treated.
Anyway, I am curious to hear what your grand conspiracy theory is behind Russia targeting the JW's as you put it. If it's not the practices, family shunning, no blood, etc, do you think Russia is worried JW's could overthrow the government?

Are you joking? Or just making things up on the fly?
In what universe Russia targeted Jdubs wrong behavior? Have you ever looked at what their kangaroo FSB 'courts' called extremism?Read that article....long before they were banned they were being told what needs to stop....
"In late December 2013, the leader of the sect's group in Tobolsk, Siberia, was charged with extremism and the prevention of a blood transfusion that nearly led to the death of a female member of the group.
In 2004, a court in Moscow dissolved and banned a Jehovah's Witnesses group on charges of recruiting children, encouraging believers to break from their families, inciting suicide and preventing believers from accepting medical assistance.
Scattered across the Russian Federation, the 200,000-strong community have been accused of sectarianism, "religious extremism", "incitement to social isolation" and behaviours that undermine societal harmony.
Russian authorities also object to the Witnesses' practice of conscientious objection, opposition to military service, refusal to use weapons, hostility to blood transfusions and the claim made on community members for total devotion."""
So tell me which of those things they deemed extremism are invalid in those kangaroo courts that you describe?

Religions should not be banned. The undesirable behaviors should be banned. They are targeting the wrong thing.
Russia did target the wrong behavior. The shunning, the extreme practices and teachings. Since borged refused to remove the bad things, they were banned.

Why are JDubs scared to death of apostate websites?
by Sour Grapes inwhen i was an elder back in the 1970's i loved to debate and challenge ministers, preachers, and holy rollers.
now you can be a loyal jdub fully indoctrinated for 30 years but just take a peek at an apostate website and you are doomed.
yes, satan now has you by the gonads and all of the years of being at the meetings, all of the family worship nights, all of the conventions, and all of the personal study just go up in a cloud of smoke.

I was raised being told how apostates are so smart and cunn8ng their lies will knock somebody out of the faith. Even hearing a few words can ruin you. I always thought if they are lies then truth can easily defeat them.
