JWFacts is incorrect about "Holy Spirit". Do YOU know about the 40 or so years the WT taught there was NO holy spirit?

i did my own extensive research as i was getting out, and by exploring actual changes and mentions of core doctrine, i learned how it came about that the gb teach that only they know the truth and only they get holy spirit.

i was checking if jwfacts had it, and although they mention many older articles, it seems they didn't realize they taught there was no holy spirit.

this was a real big eye opener for me, so thought i'd share it, and curious if any of you knew about this yourselves????.

This was a real big eye opener for me, so thought I'd share it, and curious if any of you knew about this yourselves????

I may open up my folder of custom research later and quote the articles but here is a brief description of how from Russell "anybody" could get Holy Spirit down to today where only the GB get it for understanding.

Russell correctly taught what the bible said that anybody can get holy spirit and understanding. The spirit of truth, etc. When Rutherford took over, he got very butthurt when people were questioning him, etc, and opposition that was going to come when he was going to try to make everybody become sales people for him.

So suddenly WT's released that claim that Jesus HAS returned!!!! His invisible rule!!! AND "Evidently", the holy spirit was only operating while Jesus was away. Because when Jesus was with his apostles they didn't have it, but when Jesus left, he told them he would send the teacher, the holy spirit. So since Jesus is back, there is no holy spirit anymore. Jesus has picked his faithful slave and channel to give all his people the truth and his commands. Rutherford speaking about HIMSELF in the third person, instructing how it's nobodys business HOW Jesus does it, but it's through angels or even dead brother Russell who is now serving as the annointed. But Jesus commands that there be pioneers who spend 140 hours a month doing door to door. And everybody should be selling magazines door to door. And nobody better dare question, because Jesus himself is commanding that, else it wouldn't be mentioned in the WT.

For the rest of Rutherfords life, that was the teaching. There was no holy spirit, nobody can understand the bible except through Rutherford/WT.

When Rutherford died, Knorr slowly reincorporated the holy spirit. Never an article saying the past 40 years were incorrect. Just one day it's explained that holy spirit directs the governing body and it's only through them you can get the truth. Never an explanation why only through them and no other anointed or anybody else in general. The entire basis for only the GB or president of WT having "the truth" was Rutherford saying Jesus abolished holy spirit on his return and was directly communicating through his chain of command. Later Knorr brought back holy spirit but replacing Jesus and angels for somehow holy spirit mysteriously only gets to the GB for 'new light' etc.

If nobody really knew of it like this, or there is no online way to find it, I'll make a note to list the articles and quotes in that order.

i had two episodes of visiting exjw websites:one time around 2007 when i just googled "jehovah´s witnesses" and dared to look at those sites.

i was scared and i promised myself i would never come back to them.

however, that one didn´t really count.the moment that woke me up was this:i got to know that whitney heichel was a jw and murdered by another jw, because i overheard that conversation in a kingdom hall.i looked up the news and in one of the news comments, there was one where an exjw was complaining that they were hijacking her funeral and they were really trying to downplay the fact that her murderer was a jw... and then it said "visit jwfacts.com"... which i did.and the rest... is history.what exactly got you onto an apostate website when you woke up?

I didn't trust anything I read on websites, but I googled and used websites to get information to verify. I forgot where, but found a link that had pdf downloads of every WT, Awake, etc, back to when it first began. Seeing in print what was quoted and it being very accurate. Then I also looked up the real story about Rutherford and his takeover, found the sifting brochures, etc.

Yes I am "packin" just as over 3 million americans. Most of the worst crimes are commited in GFZ

Wonder why you got dislikes. GFZ are schools, federal buildings, places where alcohol is primarily served. (bars,clubs), and they are the worst spots.

1. a warning for illegal coaching (subsequently admitted by williams's coach).

2. a point penalty for smashing her racquet.

in california, in and out burger, democrats were being told not to support the chain because they donated to republicans.. will politics affect your spending habits?.

It does if the company is attempting to silence or push political views

When companies announce, "We are no longer doing business with these people because they supported Trump, etc" thinking they'll get more business, I'll refrain and hope they hurt themselves.

Or Target, "If a grown man wants to walk in the store and say he is a women that day, we will let him in the restroom or dressing room with your daughter, and if you don't like it, you're a hateful phobic bigot" - that turned out well for them, they lost a LOT of business and stock value.

Nike is crap. I should start a shoe company. Most shoes and sneakers sold are absolute junk, not worth $10. Fall apart within a few months, etc.

Even more stupid was a recent interview with the main jw lawyer at broadcasting, telling that his wife warned him that higher education changed him negative and hé had to watch out.

He had to 'fake' that so he could get his high pay client

Developments in the India Branch

Once we get the money and build the new branch with your free labor, when the old branch is sold, we will lovingly keep and transfer that money to the USA headquarters to lovingly provide needed comforts for the GB. In about 5 years after building the new branch, and with your generous free labor, we will sell the new branch for a nice profit and send those funds to the GB as well and tell you that the branch is no longer needed since everything can be printed from JW.org.

Why are public schools allowed? Why is education through high school allowed?

if your son or daughter were badly burned, he or she would require regular whole blood transfusions.

as a good jehovah's witness, it is your duty to refuse this procedure and watch your child die instead.

Jesus healed on the sabbath. That principle alone means blood transfusions to save a life would take priority to stance on blood.

i came upon information that seraphim also translates to serpent.

i have long thought the old testament does not mean what most religions have interpreted.

If seraphim translates to serpent and if satan or opposer or other entities, the dragon or serpent in revelation, etc......

Then the fiery serpents that bite the israelites in the wilderness, fiery seraphim. the serpent in the garden of eden is a seraphim. Seraphim are described as fiery.

Anybody read hebrew here?
